'Definitely a bumpy ride up to the cabin, but 100% worth it. We experienced both beautiful sunsets, and the soothing sounds of a thunderstorm rolling over the cabin. The living room is such a relaxing environment. '

'The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. It is beautiful here. The view from the porch is absolutely amazing. Location is close to anything you need. We kayaked nearby, hiked, ziplined, and fished every night. My kids even braved the dark to try some catfishing! They are HUGE and plentiful from the fishing area! You feel very secluded there. We even saw the Milky Way! We grilled, watched movies and just had a wonderful time!'

'The Chalet was truly a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed two nights with our dog, Meeko, who had the time of his life exploring. The Chalet was beautiful, clean, and private. We enjoyed a trip to the caverns which was very convenient and spent the rest of the time at the cabin. There were board games which we played endlessly and the firepit was awesome. We roasted hot dogs and smores and enjoyed the outdoor space. The hot tub was clean and the relaxing. The views were just magical. A 10/10...

'Well appointed home. Location is gorgeous, extremely private, quiet, close to the river with 2 seating areas by the water, one with a fire pit and grill. Owners quick to respond. '

'Beautiful view, really breathtaking. Definitely the biggest plus! Furthermore a nice and cozy cabin with clean floors, surfaces, fridge and bathroom. The master bedroom was amazing, with those sliding doors to the deck and the view from your bed! Only one small minus: the towels provided were all stained and the cutlery, glasses, mugs, plates, etc. weren't clean either. cutlery/glasses/plates in the kitchclean either. '

'First time staying at The Smile Inn Over the River, everything was as listed and better :) We enjoyed every single thing, no issues whatsoever. Andy is such a great host! He makes himself available so he's there if you need him but respectful of your stay as well. We will most definitely return. We are already Really missing our nightly river dock time watching the local Heron, Osprey, Eagles and "diving ducks". 'We had such an amazing weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday. We got to enjoy a great time by the river soaking in the views and nature. We will def come back in the fall. We enjoyed all options around us as well. The host are super helpful and respond quickly. Would definitely recommend. '

' We checked in during a deluge of rain and in our rush to get in, we tried the combination on the Kwickset touchpad lock, but the key is in a lock box with a combination. A call to the property manager got immediate response, and she was quickly able to figure out the problem and solve it. After that, we didn't have any problems that required help. 'My bf and I booked a weekend trip to visit the Luray caverns and area. We LOVED our stay at this cozy cabin. It was surrounded by beautiful nature and had so many amenities inside. Loved that they have a ton of board games, darts, foosball, TVs etc. The hosts, Kyle and Sherae were very responsive and the check in and check out processes were super easy. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat!'

'We really enjoyed this home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of towels left for us. We especially loved the screened in porch which also had plenty of seating for family time. The home is not only beautiful inside but also on the outside with nice landscape and attention to detail.
