The cabin sleeps four and is about 80 minutes from DC.



The space



Shenandoah Twilight takes its name from the cabin's best hour: the stretch of evening when the sky over the valley turns gold and the ridges fade into twilight. The deck, fire table, and hot tub are all set up to watch it happen.



🍽️ Gather

The living room has a deep sectional, an electric fireplace, and a 50" TV for nights in. A few steps away, the kitchen has full-size stainless appliances, cookware, bakeware, and a coffee bar, with a high-top table for breakfast, cards, or a glass of wine while dinner comes together.



🛏️ Rest

The king bedroom is bright and simple, with plaid woodland bedding and windows into the trees. The second bedroom has a full bed and its own TV, and a stacked washer and dryer tucked into its closet. The bathroom has a custom tiled walk-in shower.



🌅 Unwind

Start the morning with coffee on the deck, then come back in the evening for dinner on the grill and a fire at the propane fire table. When the light starts to fade, settle into the hot tub and watch the valley go quiet.

We're typically available by text and happy to answer questions before or during your stay. We take a hands-off approach so you can enjoy your privacy, but we're responsive and glad to help if anything comes up.

The cabin sits in Shenandoah Farms, a wooded mountain community near Front Royal with a mix of full-time residents, second homes, and short-term rentals.



Getting around



A car is needed for groceries, dining, and exploring. Roads are paved to the gravel driveway, though AWD or 4WD may be needed in snow or ice.

🚗 Vehicle Access & Parking • Roads are paved all the way to the gravel driveway. Standard 2WD is fine most of the year; during snow or ice, AWD or 4WD is recommended and occasionally required, and we’ll share access guidance ahead of any winter storm. The driveway accommodates up to two vehicles.



📶 Connectivity • High-speed WiFi supports streaming, remote work, and video calls. The home is equipped with smart TVs, and while standard cable is not available, guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts.



📷 Smart Home Technology • For security, an exterior camera monitors the driveway and front stairs. No camera captures any part of the interior or the hot tub. A sound-level monitor in the living room measures decibels only; it does not record audio or video.



🐕 Pet Policy • Up to two dogs are welcome per stay. Our pet fee is $75 per pet and is automatically added to your reservation total when pets are included in your search. Additional dogs may be considered case by case. Service animals are always welcome, and we appreciate advance notice so we can notify our cleaning team. In Virginia, emotional support animals are treated as pets and subject to the same policies and fees.



🚼 Family-Friendly Amenities • Traveling with little ones? A pack ’n play, high chair, and children’s tableware are provided.



🧺 Laundry • A stacked washer and dryer is in the second bedroom closet, with detergent provided.



🧯 Safety & Cleanliness • All bedding, linens, and towels are professionally laundered between stays. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, a first aid kit, flashlights, and lanterns are provided.



🦌 Wildlife & Surroundings • It’s common to see deer, birds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, and the occasional black bear. Please avoid leaving food, trash, or scented items outdoors. The home is serviced by a professional pest control company, though occasional insects may make their way inside.



🏡 Privacy • The cabin sits on a wooded hillside with neighboring homes visible through the trees. Voices and music carry outdoors, so please be mindful when enjoying the hot tub, fire table, and deck in the evening.



♨️ Hot Tub • The private hot tub is open year-round and serviced regularly by a professional team.



🔥 Fire Table & Grill • The propane fire table and propane grill are available year-round, with propane provided.



⚡ EV Charging • A Level 2 EV charger with a J1772 connector is available for guest use. Tesla and other NACS vehicles will need a J1772 adapter.



🧹 Property Care & Updates • We continually improve the home, so furniture or décor may differ slightly from photos. Our landscaping, hot tub, or pest control team may service the property during your stay, and we’ll notify you in advance whenever possible. These visits are brief, exterior only, and do not require access inside the home.
