Some vacations you tolerate. This one your family talks about for years.
Everview is a premier mountain retreat just 21 minutes from Asheville — the kind of place that works for everyone in the group, all at once. Grandparents and strollers arrive to step-free ramp access and a king suite with a soaking tub made for long evenings. Kids discover two floors of games, arcades and bunk beds and never want to leave. Couples find the barrel steam sauna, fire pit and mountain views to be a world entirely their own. And whoever planned the trip — the birthday, the reunion, the long overdue escape — gets to watch it all come together exactly as they imagined.
Sleeps 10 comfortably in three bedrooms plus a sleeping sofa. ★ Ramp access for grandparents. ★ Two fully loaded game rooms. ★ Hot tub and steam sauna. Mountain views from every deck.
THE SPACE
Some homes have a game room. Everview has two — one up, one down — because one was never going to be enough for a group this size.
The main floor game room features hand-painted murals, a 75-inch Smart TV, a pool table that converts to ping pong, skee-ball and shuffleboard, with its own climate control so it is comfortable year round. The lower level steps it up further with an 85-inch Smart TV, ★ Ms. Pac-Man and Street Fighter II standup arcade games, a poker table and a BYOB wet bar. Board games are stocked in the lower closet for the nights the competitive streak really kicks in.
★ The kitchen is where guests consistently stop and stare. Belgian waffle maker, Instant Pot, espresso machine, three types of coffee beans, flavored syrups, air fryer and a fully stocked spice rack. The ★ coffee and tea bar alone has made mornings a highlight of the stay. The dining area seats 10 and the breakfast bar adds seating for four more.
Outside, the northwest-facing upper deck seats 10 with grill access and ★ mountain views that hit differently at golden hour. Stairs connect down to the ★ fire pit with seating for 7 — the kind of spot where anniversaries get celebrated, where toasts get made, and where evenings nobody planned to stay up for somehow stretch past midnight. The ★ hot tub seats 6 and faces the mountains. The private ★ barrel steam sauna fits 4 and guests consistently call it a highlight of the stay.

GOOD TO KNOW
The driveway fits 3 mid-size cars comfortably. RVs and oversized trucks will have difficulty on this narrow mountain road. Upon exiting onto Alexander Road, take extra care turning left — it is a tight angle.
Your door code will be sent a few days before check-in via smart lock — no keys to keep track of.
Two other homes share this private road. You may notice some daytime activity; evenings are consistently peaceful and quiet.
The property sits on a hill and is fenced on one side — be mindful when strolling outside or parking after dark.
★ Water is sourced from a private well — safe and natural but may taste different from home. A refrigerator filter and countertop filter are both provided.
An external security camera monitors the front entry and driveway only. There are no cameras inside the home.
The locals say they have never seen a bear on this road — but you are in the mountains, so keep trash lids closed and enjoy the wildlife from a respectful distance.
The home is on a septic system. Toilet paper only, please.
The fireplace is decorative only.
★ WiFi is 1 Gbps with approximately 1,000 Mbps download — among the fastest you will find in the mountains.
SAFETY
Your family's safety matters to us — so we have made it easy. A resource list with local police, fire and medical contacts is posted on the refrigerator, a first aid kit is under the kitchen sink, and fire extinguishers are positioned in the kitchen, bar area and on both decks. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout the home. Night lights are in the bathrooms and along the steps near the game room — just mind that step.
We ask that a competent adult be present when using the kitchen, grill, hot tub, sauna and fire pit. Please rinse before entering the hot tub and no jumping or diving. Drone use requires prior written approval per FAA guidelines.
CHECKOUT AND AGREEMENTS
To ensure every family arrives to the same exceptional experience, we kindly ask that checkout is completed on time. Late departures may incur additional fees — thank you for your understanding. Rental agreement and ID verification are required prior to arrival — a quick and simple step. The booking guest must be 25 or older, or request prior approval and be present throughout the stay.
We do not charge extra for sunshine and we do not refund for rain. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Weather-related refunds are only considered in the case of a local government-issued evacuation order, handled individually and with care.
No parties. No smoking. No pets. Just your people, the mountains and memories worth making.
We would love to host your family's next chapter at Everview!
