'Our host lives with his family in the main house, they were very friendly and helpful without being imposing. The gite was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The weather was beautiful if not a little hot, reaching around 38 degrees - maybe a fan would have made sleeping a bit more comfortable. 'This is an excellent property. The only problem was locating Bois Mort from Gorges. The location appears to be not Garmin GPS friendly. But this was quickly remedied by the owner. This is a delightful spot. We spent six pleasant nights. Many Loire sights easily reachable in day trips. Very relaxing place to return to and host Richard charming, helpful and a very good cook. We would highly recommend this spotless, expertly restored historic property for a Loire region stay.'
