March Madness vacation

Enjoyed Las Vegas and the March Madness basketball tournament. Weather was great and the shuttle to the Strip is an excellent service. Our check in host, Mayra, did an excellent job and was very cheerful and helpful.

We really enjoyed the location of our stay as well as the shuttle service to take us to a central location on the strip. Our condo was clean and accommodating for a group of 5. We had some water issues with toilets and dishwasher but overall our stay was great.

Check in

Christian was so helpful. However, hotel check in was a fiasco!!!! And for that, I won’t use this site or the hotel again. Yes, it was that bad. Which is sad because the hotel was nice. But check in and the check in staff was awful

We had the absolute worst experience with this property. We arrived only to find out the host had cancelled our reservations even after we had paid in full months prior. Of course the resort could not offer any assistance and stated they were fully booked. The host would not respond to calls or emails. We had to scramble to find another place to stay for a family of 5 which meant changing 3 hotels in 5 nights. I can’t even begin to describe the disappointment not to mention all the extra costs we incurred as prices had gone up since our initial planning of this trip.Save yourself a lot of stress and money, DO NOT book this rental!

Very nice VRBO

This VRBO was just as described. It was clean and perfect for our stay. It was nice to not be in a casino and have to walk through smoke to get to our room. It was close to the strip and ubers and shuttle were very accessable. I would encourage anyone to stay here.

Just what we needed

This being a timeshare property and the bookings being managed by management company and not the owner was a concern for me as I did not realize this until after I booked. HOWEVER, the booking process was handled with professionalism and responses to my questions and concerns were handled immediately, even on weekends:) We arrived at 2:00 am and we’re greeted with smiles at Tower II. The reservations staff took care of informing the property of our very late arrival which was greatly appreciated. The bell hop drove us and all of our luggage to Tower I and helped us get everything into our condos. We booked a 2 bedroom and we were given a lock out room which was 2, 1 bedrooms connected by a common door which we kept unlocked. The condos were well appointed with everything we needed. Super quiet - never heard road noise or others the entire 5 night stay. Staff told us shortcuts to get to the monorail system and staff greeted us with hellos throughout the property. Security everywhere which was great as we were walking at all hours of the night. Good delivery was so easy and a time saver for us! Great property, great management, would highly recommend and stay at Wyndham Grand Desert again!

Good location.

The place was clean and quiet, although we were there during the week Friday night started to get a little more noisy, but that's Vegas. The hotel does not have a bar. Otherwise, no complaints about the stay.

Terrible struggle checking in

We arrived are were to us a hosts name, in this case an email had been sent the day prior with I would assume the time share owners name. The front desk told us we would have to wait until the owner arrived to check in, we’ll obviously that wasn’t going to happen as we had rented the property from the time share owner on VRBO. It took some calls and some discussion with the property to get everything settled which added an hour to our already late checkin and kept my disabled child in the vehicle much longer than we had hoped. Once checked in I was worked over by the timeshare sales people who struggled to take no for an answer, unfortunately they are the ones with the door keys and wrist bands so that added to the experience of getting checked in. Once we got past that it was a gong show to get bell service as it was getting super busy and they put us on the 12th floor even though I had requested 6th or lower (vertigo). The property was decent but very dated, with the cooktop being badly damaged and the coffee-table missing parts, maintenance came but was unable to repair either. This was touted as a presidential suite but was far from it, I hope they never try to rent it to any presidents :(. Otherwise the property was ok, we used the bbqs one evening and they were fine. It was cold and windy so we never used the pools, the restaurant seemed to be seldom open so we microwaved what we could. There was a lot of noise starting at 4:30 am which I suspect is when housekeeping staff started vacuuming. Location was excellent within walking distance of the strip. Parking was decent Price was high but to be expected for new years.

Perfect for family’s or groups!

We stayed in two units, five in one and three in another. The units were well furnished and spacious, which we appreciated. Very nice and we would absolutely stay here again!

Good stay, convenient

Spent a few days over Labor Day weekend with a few buddies. Top Golf was on our list so it helped that the room was across the street from top golf. Never had any issues trying to get to any place as the location is close to the strip. Room was clean, beds were comfy, everything was great. Would stay there again

not available, but ended up being ok

the resort called me 10 days prior to my trip telling me this room was not available for me anymore and said they only had a one bedroom instead and were offering me a 25% refund.. this was extremely frustrating as I had 8 guests with me and we would not be able to fit into a one bedroom.. I ended up recalling and convincing them to give me 2 bedrooms... I mean thats the right thing to give 2 bedrooms when I had already booked a 2. bedroom room and you are the one cancelling on me.. if this had not happened I would have totally given this place 5 stars all of the staff is so nice and accommodating and very clean and definitely a more family friendly style for vegas. they do have shuttles taking you from the resort to Paris but the shuttles stop running at 9:30 and things in vegas do not even really open until 11, so that was sort of pointless. but other then our mishap with this room not being available everything else was great!
