I have actually only written several reviews for properties and I have never given a negative review in my life, although I have stayed at some questionable properties. What very much disappoints me is when the Expedia app times out during a booking without providing confirmation, displays an error message, and when I refreshed and did resubmit the booking and it ended up making a duplicate booking. contacted Expedia right away (within minutes after my banner displayed two charges), and they told me they were working on deleting the duplicate reservation however it had already gone into this sleep inn. Expedia informed me they would have to contact the hotel to get a refund. This was not completed by the time we had to check in, and when I explained what occurred with a malfunctioning Expedia application to the front desk, they cannot do anything at the hotel. So I paid for two rooms when I only booked one. Beware of the app not functioning properly and if you do get timed out or anything bizarre happens I would highly highly highly recommend checking your bank account before you follow through and make another booking. I am very disappointed when an app malfunctions and I am double charged when I attempted to remedy the issue immediately. Needless to say, I will not stay at the property or use Expedia for my bookings again. Hopefully this helps another traveler in the future not be defrauded.
