  • This beautifully updated two-bedroom oceanfront home in Puamana remains a peaceful and inviting retreat, even in the wake of Lahaina’s devastating fires. While much of the surrounding community was impacted, this home stands strong—professionally cleaned from top to bottom, including the attic, to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.

    Recent upgrades include brand-new flooring throughout, fresh interior paint, and stylish new window coverings, all thoughtfully chosen to enhance the home’s relaxed island vibe. A newly installed air conditioning system keeps things cool and comfortable.

    The spacious single-level layout offers uninterrupted ocean views and plenty of natural light. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, an ocean-facing desk for remote work or journaling, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom with a queen bed is equally cozy and well-appointed. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home, and the lanai is ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying your morning coffee to the sound of the waves.

    Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool is also open and available for use.

Great place to stay. The slider opens up right to the lanai which is on a nice grass area leading straight to the beach. This is one of the best spots in the complex. The interior is very nice with the wood trim making it special. We also rented a four bedroom unit directly across the grass area as we had a family of 14. The units complimented each other perfectly.

The property was just as described, but even better in person! So many towels and utensils. I would wish there were more beach toys or a crib, but that’s a nice to have. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay right next to the beach. Clean and well maintained property. Plenty of towels, and comfy beds. Beach is a bit rocky with waves, optimal for surfing, it was fun to watch them. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of plates and pans, though no food basics, so we had to buy our own salt, pepper, oil ect.

Paradise at your door step!

The community was picture perfect! And you are surrounded by lush grounds and spectacular ocean views. Dining on the lanai and watching the sunset were the highlights of our vacation. We would highly recommend this unit and look forward to returning soon!

We were blown away on how beautiful this property was. The pictures don't do this property justice. We enjoyed our stay overall. This place had everything we needed, I mean everything. We shopped at the local market and it just felt like home. I cant wait to come again, this is perfect for a family.

Beautiful sunsets

Right at the water edge, close to the beach access point. Very large and clean, with high end furniture and equipment. Everything you need, including AC in every room and powerful WiFi. Only problem: we had to leave!

Huge fan of Puamana!!

We really loved our stay here. If you like to surf, this is the spot!! The unit was dated but in good condition. Only one gripe about the unit was the portable A/C units, which are rather loud all through the night but acceptable since that was disclosed in the listing. The location makes any negatives with the unit worth the stay here.

Maui Vacation

We have stayed at at another unit in Puamana and wanted to come back. This unit is in a perfect location! Loved the windows and view of the ocean. Steps away from the beach. Short walk in to town. AC units weren’t all functional, but we made it work with the window units even though they were a little loud. Would 100% come back to this unit.

Ocean views, 200 feet from an incredible surf break, kids playing in the front grass, humpbacks blowing and jumping behind the surf, amazing and spacious unit with everything we needed. Although it was not recently updated, it truly didn't need it - the unit had a great low-key vibe consistent with Puamana, was extremely clean, and comfortable (great beds!). The location cannot be beat - huge lawn, beach access, and no highway noise. And APVR did a great job hosting the property - incredibly friendly and responsive. I hope to be back!
