« I was traveling for work and this is the only motel near my job sites. If I could leave zero stars I would. The room and bathroom were filthy. There was no toilet paper and the toilet seat was broken. The bathroom was full of roaches. I left all my luggage in the car and would have slept in my car if it had an outlet for my Cpap machine. I have stayed in some terrible places as a professional musician, but this place makes the top five most deplorable literal roach motels I have ever seen. Do...

« We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns. »

« Needed a weekend getaway and some peaceful sleep. Absolutely best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Location is secluded, perfectly quiet and peaceful, and wonderfully setup. »

« We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked....

« When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house! »

« The house is very spacious and had more beds then we needed, it was nice to have a pet froendly house as well. However the house was not very clean and a lot of the furniture is damaged and old, which I didn't expect at this price point. I will say we had a slight hot water issue while we were there and the host was very quick to get it resolved. Overall a a great stay, just a bit overpriced. »

« We had a wonderful stay. The house fit our needs perfectly. The home is well stocked and comfortable. The screened in porch and the quick walk to the dock with deep water swimming was exactly what we were looking for in a lake house. Bonus points for the firepit and wood!! Thank you for sharing. »

« Exactly what we expected: clean and comfy in a beautiful setting. Bed and sheets were very comfortable, and we slept great. A/C kept up well despite how hot it was outside.
