'We stayed one night in the Cardinal room and appreciated the charm of the hotel and the room. Upon arrival we were offered complimentary wine. All Staff were helpful and pleasant. The bed was super comfortable. The Cardinal room has its own bathroom including a jetted tub, a gas fireplace, and overlooks the garden. We enjoyed dinner in the Ferguson pub which is attached to the hotel. In the morning we enjoyed full breakfasts in the hotel Solarium that overlook the garden. Ample free...

'Walls are paper thin and there were loud guests in hallways after midnight and early in the morning. Staff should be monitoring hallways to avoid excess noise. I also called front desk several times with no answer. Staffing seems sparse. Breakfast underwhelming'

'Our room wasn't cleaned. We quickly got a new room, but the bathroom wasn't fully cleaned. Staff took care of that; but cleaning is apparently an issue.
The room is very spacious, staff very friendly. Location is great just off Hwy-10.
Breakfast is fine; just the plastic tools and paper plates should be changed back into proper utensils and plates.
Boston Pizza conveniently right next door.'

WAYFARE MOTEL27,8 km van Belwood
6.6 van 10, (66 beoordelingen)
'This place was very worn down and had damage. There was only a half roll of toilet paper and no extra. The soap was like a little piece of cardboard. The shower curtain was filthy with evidence of something all over it on the inside, yuck. The door lock was like a bathroom door lock on the inside so I pushed heavy furniture against the door for the night. Outside the door was the small parking lot that had dumpsters and junk around.
This all being said, the woman who checked me in was so lovely...

Hockley Valley Resort30,4 km van Belwood
8.2 van 10, Zeer goed, (586 beoordelingen)
'The variety of rooms at Hockley is deceiving. Very few have been renovated and if you pay for a renovated room you have a safe on the bottom floor (have to get down on your hands and knees to use it) no dresser (only shelves), the room is very dark, and the bathroom has no tub and very small. One sink and small vanity. Heated toilet seat is nice. Quite expensive'
