'Our room was very nice in many respects, luxurious even. Still we would not choose to stay here again, because the couple who manage the place showed very little flexibility and sense of service when they denied our request (that we put in after one day) to cut our stay at the hotel short from four to three nights. The lady literally immediately pulled out the fine print of the agreement and told us that "from a business standpoint", she couldn't allow this. Very disappointing and, as you can...

'VERY clean. Convenient to town. We had a free standing suite with out own bathroom, refrig and tea pot. Also access to main housr kitchen and laundry facilities. First experience with a Hostel, and wont be our last.'

'While driving to the hotel, we thought we would end up by the containers in the harbour but a turn to the right brought us to this charming core painted one storey hotel. Lovely and friendly hosts - our room overlooking the yacht marina was fantastic as we had a balcony to enjoy the views. Continental Breakfast was included but we could get a cooked breakfast at an extra charge. Very clean and modern rooms and most important very good and swift WIFI connections! 'We were on a queen room. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. It has recently been refurbished to a good standard. There is a microwave, coffee plunger and crockery but washing up all as to be done in the bathroom sink which is a bit odd.'

'Great room with good modern decor, certainly a step up from the standard motel offering in NZ. Also loved the additional communal kitchen if you need more than the microwave in the room. Parking was a bit of a pain during the day because a lot of non-guests appear to use the car park and it's not policed.'

'This is my type of place, it was a small single room but homely and quirky with a comfy bed. All I needed. Staff was accomodating and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. TV is tiny but I was not looking to watch anything. '

'The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, sofa, table and chairs, small fridge and kitchen with supplies. The owners are courteous and helpful. The location is close to the airport but a little isolated from the downtown core. There are two bus routes that provide easy access to downtown. '

'Leuk vakantiepark aan het strand, niet direct bij zee, maar wel dicht in de buurt. Wij hadden een huisje voor 4 personen en was helemaal leuk! Het is hier nog voorseizoen dus het was erg rustig. Maar goed verzorgd!!'

'When I arrived it was getting late, the lady at the counter was very nice and made my check in easy after a tiring day traveling. They gave me a bigger unit which I am very greatful for, it was also spotless and spacious. Cleaners kept everything in order, and do an excellent job. The site is close to the Richmond town center that has everything you will need on holiday and even a cinema 'Silky Otter' (10 min walk). For me, it was like a nice little home away from home and I look forward to...
