This was a nice location with a heated pool and easy access to beautiful beaches. The beach had tons of shells which was a nice surprise. Appreciate the beach chairs and towels! I loved that this condo was part of Omni which had tons to do for our family. The condo was nice, instructions were clear and communication was thorough from Amelia Island Rentals. Some parts of the condo could use updates—the kitchen floor is in bad condition and there are lots of marks on the walls. These are very minor and didn’t impact our stay, though, and definitely would come back again.

Great place to visit the beach and relax. The condo was exactly as advertised and had plenty of the items you hope they would have but also things you don't think about. The property management was great. Overall was one of our best experiences at a VBRO.

The property was pet friendly. Air conditioning worked well. Property seemed dated and grimy. Everything was very worn- beds, couch, dinning room table, and kitchen supplies. The bathroom drains struggled to drain and had a lot of rust. The location of condo had a lot of stairs to get out to the beach. No beach view from condo.

Walk to beach was not easy with all the stairs! Need to have some kind of ramp for those pulling a beach wagon, chairs, kids, tents, etc!!!!!!Hard to rinse off from the beach because there was no way to turn water hose on without holding the nozzle down. Hard to do when you have small kidsCould not see ocean from room! The activities on the plantation were great!

Beautiful!!

We stayed at this beautiful condo with our adult children and their spouses. It was perfect! I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We actually stayed in this building at the Omni Resort over 20 years ago with our children. We had great memories here 20 years ago and we made many more amazing memories recently. The beach is beautiful, hardly anyone on the beach. We rented bikes and rode all over the resort on the many bike trails.

Location great, Condo needs updating

We have stayed at the Omni property several times in the past 20 years in various condos. This condo is spacious, but the pictures are misleading. It is ocean front in terms of walking, but you cannot see the ocean since it is on the first floor. Nonetheless, the small porch is fine and you can hear the ocean. None of the bedrooms face the ocean, and the master faces the parking lot. Everything in the condo is very old and worn. The paint is chipped on all of the trim and walls. The couch is stained and dirty. The floors turned everyone's feet black so I wore flip flops the entire time inside. Nothing matches in the kitchen. The refrigerator is old. There is only one large pan in which to cook. The tvs are old and small. They do not have capabilities to get netflix or other streaming services. The bathrooms are very old, one has two cabinets with a sign that says "do not use" because it is clearly broken and not usable. The water pressure is actually pretty excellent. One of the worst things is the master bedroom bed is so squeaky that if you roll over, you will definitely wake up your spouse. Positives: The A/C works well. The location to the pool is great. The beach is excellent (although like most condos at the omni, you need to walk over the former golf course to get there). There are beach chairs provided, but know they are older and also worn. We had a great time at the beach, but the condo felt like something I would have rented when I was in college

Good unit, poor management

We had issues with the locks when we arrived, and no response to either of the two after hours numbers provided. We finally heard back 11 a.m. the next day. Had we not figured it out on our own (actual usage did not match the instructions provided), we would have had to sleep with unlocked doors overnight. The electronic locks did not have deadbolts and did not feel terribly secure. The contract specified 4 p.m. check in, the property manager texted the day before to confirm our arrival time, and yet we were not able to access the unit until 6 p.m. Aside from those hiccups, the property was clean, relatively well maintained (though definitely dated). Pool was great and beach access was close. Note that there's limited cell service inside the condo, though it's fine elsewhere on the property.

We have found our GO TO vacation spot!

Go ahead and book this condo! The rooms are spacious and each have a vanity sitting area to get ready and a bathroom! The separate living space made this feel even more roomy for our group. They have seriously thought out every detail, they are equipped for your needs! The walk to the pool is not bad and the pool is very nice and has a lot chairs. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad. The scenery and landscape around the condo was so beautiful! We will be back. This place was perfect for our family, thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Christmas family Getaway

We love Amelia island, been coming for decades. This was our first time in this part of the island. We loved waking up, drinking coffee on the balcony listening to the waves every morning. The rooms were spacious and comfy beds made for great sleep to dream of sugar plums. We played pickleball daily at the Drummond Point Park, over looking the marsh side of the island. Great facility, trails, and courts with public restrooms. We enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday downtown, even got a photo with Santa before his big workday. We took an evening trip into Jacksonville to see the festive “Deck The Chairs” art exhibit, and caught an exhilarating Icemen hockey match. A must, and maybe a new tradition for our family. We saw family and had a wonderful time. Heated pool, ocean for miles of exploring, this space is prefect for families who can do stairs to stay in. ** Might need to ask Santa for a spatula for pancake making, and a WiFi extender for downstairs bedrooms. My family was happy to have this great home to share this Christmas.

Paradise

We really enjoyed the area. My girlfriend used to live in Jacksonville, so she gave me the complete tour: Jax Beach, Amelia Island Beach, Fernandina Beach. What a little slice of heaven! The accommodations were excellent. We loved the property, and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. So many good things to say: the landscaping was immaculate, the pool was wonderful, and we felt like we had a huge section of our own private beach. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, the A/C worked great the whole time, the linens and towels (and lots of beach towels) were perfect. We loved, loved, loved it! One gotcha, which was no fault of anyones is that there are two doors. When they say the keycode is for the upper door, it really is the upper door. Even though we went up a flight of stairs to the door, it really wasn't the upper door. My recommendation is to take the elevator. You'll see what I mean! Anyway, a testament to the management company is that Chelsea came by to ensure we found our way in. I really appreciated her going the extra mile for us. Our whole trip was wonderful! Thank you!

Management company had great follow up. Had some items that needed repair: blinds broken in master bedroom, dishwasher was broken, microwave was not usable due to sparks. Upgrades seem needed.

Quick getaway

We enjoyed a quick getaway at this Omni Villa. The Omni property is so beautiful. This villa was nice but this villa and the property are not handicap friendly. As stated, there is a half a flight of stairs to enter the property. There is an elevator at this property but it only stops between floors. There are also 2 flights of stairs inside the villa. There are stairs to access the pool and beach and the beach access is a very far walk from the villa. The villa had everything we needed but based on the previously mentioned, we would not choose to stay here again. The cell service (AT&T) and the wifi were poor. Also, it took a long time to cool the unit properly, the first day/night was miserably hot.

Summer family vacation

This condo was very accommodating to our family. Parents, grandparents and kids had more than enough room. We brought our own beach things but condo closet had plenty if we needed more. Kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay.
