A short drive toward the coast from Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach is synonymous with golf – though it offers many other allures. The PGA Tour and The Players Championship are played at TPC Sawgrass, home of the famous 17th-hole island green. But don’t forget that the word "beach" is part of this destination’s name. Ponte Vedra Beach’s 40-foot sand dunes are among the highest in Florida. From their peak, they race down to white sand beaches made from Appalachian quartz and ancient coquina. Seaside resorts and private escapes can be found in the twisted oaks and hammocks of the wild palmettos. Miles of fresh-water streams, creeks and lagoons course through the natural area of Ponte Vedra Beach. Of course, elegant shopping and fine dining in Ponte Vedra Beach also are widely available.

The location was great for the golf course, the accommodations were excellent and supplies for a rental (garbage bags, dish soap, cleaning supplies) outstanding. Great place to vacation.

Not very impressed. I usually only write positive reviews. The location is amazing.The property is very out dated. No garbage disposal in the sink. Both shower curtains had mold on them. Not sure if the cleaning people have told the property manager.Very little communication. Never asked how our visit was going. This was our first negative stay with VRBO.

Wonderful Getaway!!

Thank you for a wonderful stay!! The townhouse is conveniently located in PV BCH, inside Sawgrass CC. Beach access was a short walk, as well as the neighborhood pool.

Wonderful experience!

The property was very clean and welcoming. The owner was very responsive and we especially appreciated the no pets policy. The attention to detail made our stay very comfortable. My only recommendation would be to add a disposal, but again, wonderful stay! We will definitely plan to rent again in the future!

Plenty of living space. The TV is streaming and there wasn’t any information provided at check-in to assist with this - i was able to navigate this but my companion wasnt familiar with streaming - a tip sheet would be helpful for future renters. Also, entry is via a lock box and only had 1 key - this was an issue - Recommend updating to an electronic keypad. The master has a large window at the top of the ceiling which doesn’t have any shade/drapes and allows light from the street in

Great Location

The condo is in a great location, very convenient to the beach, restaurants, etc. We were visiting family in the area so being in Sawgrass was a plus for us. The condo is nice, and the furnishings are comfortable. I would recommend for golfers and adult getaways a little more than for families with small children. The third bedroom is up a spiral staircase, which we didn't use because we had a small child with us. We did have contact with the owner who was very attentive to us and we appreciate that. He was very quick to respond. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great rental.

Owner is super nice and very communicative. Appreciate that he lets us rent for the annual Seniorita tennis tournament for breast cancer. This was our second time staying and we enjoyed our stay again. Hoping again for years to come! Right across the street from the golf club where we were able to shuttle to the tennis courts.

The house is in an amazing location the county club is beautiful! The house is very nice could use some upgrades. The master bedroom is very nice the upstairs bedroom is nice the second bedroom is very nice and large downstairs but the mattress is horrible the appliances are just ok could use some cleaning. The backyard furniture is not usable is very dirty overall the location is amazing lots of places to eat beach and pool are very close. Great restaurants within miles

Mr Dyer was great to work with. Accommodated our Womens group for the annual SRITA tennis tournament for breast cancer. Unit is right across the street from the golf club. Although we mainly only slept there, it was a great setup for our group.

Buyer Be Aware

The accommodation itself was as advertised. However, it stated "oceanfront" and private beach and it was certainly neither! The ocean was a brisk 12 minute walk thru the development, across a road, through another development and across a public,not private, access point. No bathrooms, no restaurants, no beach chairs. The description also talks about the pristine Sawgrass location and the golf courses. The Sawgrass development is beautiful, but be aware that renters cannot use any of the amenities. The townhouse is tastefully decorated, as shown, but notice there are no outdoor photos. There is no screened patio and only four chairs with no table. We were disappointed and will remember to be more aware and ask more questions next time.

Sawgrass Family Reunion

Great location near Vicars Landing, where my Mom lives, and the beach. We enjoyed long walks in the morning around Sawgrass. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep. The home was well furnished....couches and beds were very comfortable. We felt right at home in this condo.

Enjoyable two-week stay at this Sawgrass villa.

This villa feels spacious and bright with floor to ceiling windows and two tastefully furnished, very comfortable sitting areas as well as a good sized dining area with a large table. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed and generous closet space. The two bathrooms are on the small side, but still have everything needed. Phil was very responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and very comfortable property. Owner was very responsive with details for checkin etc Kitchen was well stocked. Only suggestion….might be time for an upgrade to the tv in the living room with access to plug in our own streaming device. Would definitely stay here again.
