Lovely home

We were on the Island for an event. The home was convenient to places we needed to go. The decor is nice and functional. We really enjoyed the recreational extras in the garage like bike and chairs. We felt like the home felt roomier than it looked in the pictures. The only issue was being beside the hotel - lighting made it difficult for rooms to be dark at night - and loud music from the Sliders bar and restaurant near by was bothersome but not heinous. We had friends staying across the street so we used their beach access otherwise it would have been a longer “commute” to the public beach access.

Lovely Home on Amelia Island

The house was exactly as advertised - spacious, clean, and right across the street from the beach. There were some quirks though. The house was well supplied with many things but there was no basics such as toilet paper, tissues, paper towels or soap for the shower. The check in/out process was simple. The management team was extremely responsive. The smoke detector in the master bedroom was chirping and they were there within the hour to replace the battery. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There is a hotel next door so there was a lot of traffic, light and noise coming from that side, particularly when then emptying the dumpsters at 5:30 am. The house is on A1A so there was quite a bit of road noise too. But I can forgive any minor issues for an ocean view and beach access! I would definitely stay here again.
