Bateaux-maisons à Iowa oriental

« Very cool historic building with antique furnishings and super comfortable bed. Paid a little extra to stay in the presidential suite which was very cool. Suite had a whirlpool, and an awesome sitting room overlooking downtown. My only gripe is the whirlpool wasn't able to get very hot at all. I assume the water heater can't keep up for the tub's demand. One guy on staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the lounge/bar/restaurant is no longer in service. « Cedar Falls is a surprisingly robust community and the Blackhawk Hotel is a hidden gem! The staff is engaging and generous and go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of and heard. This is an historic inn, so the premises are burnished with years of use, which I think just adds to its charm. Main Street is dotted with several unique eating, drinking and shopping establishments and our nightcap at the Bar Winslow in the hotel was the perfect spot for our too-short stay in Cedar Falls. »
