'This property is serene, beautiful, family friendly and a great place for a much needed retreat. Beautiful memories were built as our family had time to enjoy the amazing views, cooler weather and sounds of the sea. We spent most of the two full days packed with fun on the property alone (but go to the farmer's market on Saturday during the summer to buy Diane's fabulous clam chowder & Mike's amazing wooden figures). '

'This was such a cute cabin with a lovely deck close to a variety of beaches. The owner is a real gem - responsive and clear and the property was neat and tidy. Due to an unexpected heat wave, the first night was rough (no a/c)…luckily my friend brought a high-powered fan to help in the loft. The owner was kind enough to provide ear plugs for evening traffic and the kids had a fantastic time.'

'What a beautiful spot — both the well designed cabin and location on shark reef. The little beach was great for a cold dip. The deck was perfect for dinner and sunset cocktails. We saw whales twice cruising up San Juan channel. The cabin has everything you need and was so comfortable. Very relaxing spot. We will be back. '

'The house was amazing, and super comfortable. The drive in takes a little longer than you might expect, as it’s 10-15MPH on gravel roads. But once you get there, the views are amazing. It’s about 10 minutes from Eastsound, and very close to the park and Mt Constitution. '

'A really great property on the water for a couple and pet or 2 couples!My partner and I loved our stay with our puppy. The walk down to the water is easy and the neigborhood is very quiet and private. A very close drive to town!The kitchen was nice to use and the ameninites were all great. Communication with Judy was easy and she was very kind. Loved staying here!'

'We frequent Lake Whatcom often, but needed a place to have family stop in and enjoy a day with us over a few day period to celebrate a couple of our kids accomplishments. The ample parking and huge yard on the water worked perfectly for us. The dock allowed us to keep our water toys on standby for whenever someone felt the need to enjoy the water. The yard size allowed us to have yard games, seating, and food service with plenty to spare. The fire pit area was great for after the sun went down....

'The location was five stars, along with the view each morning from the deck and the evening wind down. The mattress on the downstairs futon was amazingly comfortable, It was only six or seven minutes to the IGA, which met all my needs. I would stay there again.'

"Ruime kaner, badkamer verouderd en klein, lamp in badkamer maakt erg veel lawaai in combinatie met airco. Kan he niet afzonderlijk aanzetten . Wij gebruikten daarom verlichting van de heater in de badkamer. Handdoeken rek zit op onlogische plek stoot je steeds tegenaan. Bed staat op wieltjes dus bij beweging gaat hij verplaatsen. Kamer ruikt overdreven naar schoonmaak middel Onder bedden wordt niet schoongemaakt Hotel doet Nederlands voorkomen met naam Holland Inn en molens en tulpen maar niemand spreekt of kent Nederland. Ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg, nachts geen last van ochtends hoor je wel veel verkeer. Ontbijt is basic maar goed verzorgd "
