'Inaki Uhi has a great location "downtown" Hanga Roa. There are a couple of supermarkets close to the hotel and a bakery next door (empañadas!) and some good restaurants across the road. Its a small walk to the "harbor" (mainly a few small boats for fishing and scubadiving). Alvaro, the host, knows a lot about the island so try taking a tour with him! The wifi works but isn't really fast.'

'Going to Rapa Nui my expectations were low in terms of what to expect but the bed was comfortable, hotel room was spotless, and I had hot water, a portable AC unit, fan, and power. Breakfast was free, and I was happy with it. Hanga Roa is very small and it was super easy to walk everywhere from the hotel even in flip flops. What was incredible was the hotel staff. 'This was a great stay at Tupa Hotel. A warm welcome at the airport. A great professional and cute staff ! Everyday you really saw the room was cleaned and they did an amazing job. 'This was a perfect experience for what we wanted. Carla is amazing. Pick up was easy. She arranged a rental for us to use. The lodge was secluded (which we loved and wanted). It was clean and view of the ocean from our window and balcony along with the stars at night beyond perfect. We will stay here every time we visit. '

'The place is very open, peaceful, clean and very friendly, helpful accommodating staff. Breakfast is sufficient. Kenatea, the manager is very nice. Our flight is not until late in the afternoon and she let us stayed in our room until we are ready to leave for our flight. '
