'First, I was transferred to an "upgraded" room without any explanation or clear direction. So when we arrived I thought I had entered the wrong room because the place was trashed. I asked the host to call me and they just replied via the app instead because they knew I was there from the camera outside the door. I explained that someone must be staying in this unit because it was filthy and stuff was scattered all about. They didn't believe me of course until I started sending multiple pictures....

'The sunset view is amazing. The pool was wonderful, although it would have been nice if it was cleaned before our visit and not on the morning we left. The house moved when someone else walked across the room. There were ants on the kitchen counters and on the floor in the living room. We notified the property management right away, they said they would have someone come out, but no one ever did while we were there for five days. You can't beat the lake view, but the ants and moving house...
