Bunk beds are in the game room, which is separate from the house. It has it’s own exterior door and there is no interior connection to the main house. This is not mentioned in the listing at all. We booked this house because we had 6 kids, aged 4-12, and the bunks were perfect. But none of them could actually sleep there because they would have been separated. They would have had to walk outside to the main door to come inside to use the restroom, which is fine for them playing during the day, but definitely not at night. Also, there was no remote for dvd player, no connection to play the wii, and wii controllers were broken with no batteries. The house was otherwise nice. Clean, comfortable beds (but kids had to sleep on the floor and the couch because of the separate game room), bedroom tvs worked, and the kitchen was stocked with cookware. We did have a sweet visitor, a young kitty, that the kids loved and who kept trying to sneak into the house. She was a welcomed addition and hung out on the back deck the whole time. We had a good time, but would not book again because of the sleeping situation. So if you have kids you plan to put in the bunk beds, be aware.
