'wat een warm ontvangst. prachtige locatie midden in natuurgebied. authentieke kamers, goede bedden en prima badkamer. Het ontbijtbis fenomenaal. vers gebakken brood, heerlijke cereals met vers fruit en vol schots ontbijt. mijn vrouw had scrambled eggs met zalm.'

'Don't be surprised by the route to this place. This 600 year old place has all the luxury and comfort you wish for. Of all places we stayed they made us feel more welcome than any of the others. Service and accommodation are impeccable. If this is not enough to convince you then let me tell you about breakfast. All fresh and in an abundance I've never seen before. Custom made breakfast with fresh eggs from their own chickens. Everybody should try it out but I still hope there's a room for us...

'The property was undergoing a makeover, new carpets etc and was a little bit untidy in areas. Nonetheless to be expected during contractors working there. The staff, especially the manager, were extremely helpful and pleasant.'
