'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'Crown City Inn in Coronado is such a unique gem. I typically only stay in big ‘upscale’ hotels and unless they’re truly distinguished I don’t like them very much. The Crown’s beach motel vibe was perfect, it’s charming, quant, clean, and perfectly situated. Getting out of the bustle that is downtown SD, and taking retreat at the Crown was a great choice. I was the envy of my team, all of whom were stuck in some mediocre mainstream hotel in the city. Without a doubt I’ll stay here the next...

'Such an awesome boutique hotel! Although probably smaller than you may expect, the rooms are quaint and comfortable. We originally were given a room that looked into an alley and then given a new room that looked out over 6th Ave, and were warned it may be loud. This wasn't true at all. We had an absolute great time working on our laptops in the garden area, enjoyed the free Starbucks coffee, and loved Witherbys Restaurant. The entire staff was so accommodating and great! I'd give it a 10 star...
