Perfect!

This property was the perfect condo for our family to spend 7 nights. There were 6 adults, a 17 year old, a 10 and 8 year old, and we were accommodated well. There were enough beds for everyone, so no one had to sleep on a sofa sleeper. As in the description, this condo had a grand view of the ocean from the kitchen/living room, was stocked well with necessities, clean, and the "fun closet" had everything possible that we needed for our enjoyment of the beach (5 minute walk). The kitchen was well equipped, with more appliances than we needed. The sunsets were phenomenal ! Thank you for allowing us to stay here. We would definitely return here again, should we venture back to Maui.

Justin and Tanya’s property gave us what every family with children hopes for on a vacation: convenience. Thanks to the many beds and bathrooms, adults and children were able to bathe and sleep/nap comfortably. The washer and dryer were very helpful with children. It was the perfect home base between beach trips and helpfully provided beach chairs, an ice chest, boogie boards, an umbrella and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The view from the lanai was spectacular and most of us found ourselves gazing out mornings and evenings. The grounds were lovely. We had a wonder time and would love to go back.

Perfect stay!

The property is as described. There are two bedrooms with private baths on the first floor of the condo. Then the bathroom and loft with a bed and couch and bedroom upstairs with two beds. The air condition worked just fine and cooled off quickly. The grounds are beautiful. The view from this property was beautiful. The beach area is not necessarily swimmable, but Hawaii is about beach hopping and exploring anyway. Although, the lounge chairs by the edge of the water on the grass under the palm trees were very nice. The 4 chairs and the umbrella and cooler and wagon were awesome to have. The closet is also full of beach toys. We didn't have any little ones, but they sure had everything you would need for them. It was 6 adults for us and even though the kitchen is smallish we had no complaints. I have stayed in a lot of properties and they truly had a well stocked kitchen with pans that you can actually cook on. We used the grills by the pool and they were in perfect shape. We always had a parking spot. We played pickle ball on the courts one morning. The glow in the dark putt putt at night was awesome. And on Thursdays the Mai tai happy hour by the pool was a bonus which has just started back. This property was perfect, comfortable, and convenient for our family of 6. The location is perfect too. Close to Black rock and other amazing beaches and hikes in West Maui. Mahalo

Property was as described. Family of 10 stayed for 5 nights. The resort was excellent and the condo was just as described. Plenty of room and everything we needed. Would definitely rent again if we make the long trek from Boston in the future :)

Best Vacation Ever

This is a beautiful and awesome place to stay...the resort does a great job of making sure the grounds are emasculate. The place is well stocked and whatever you need to get is right next door. The beds were very comfortable, and it was great to have 3 bathrooms and the master had a makeup mirror! We really enjoyed the fun cupboard and used the boogie boards every day. We loved having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the resort and the ocean. This place is in an excellent location, close to everything. The owners were responsive and very nice. Everything was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Papakea Resort! We had everything we needed including a beach wagon! We made most of our meals at the condo and the kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful resort, the grounds are so pretty. The layout worked well for our group of 4 kiddos and 5 adults. The only thing we missed was a large table to eat around together. A handheld shower wand would have been handy for kids but overall everything was great! Thank you so much!

Party of 8 for part of the stay, 6 for the rest of the stay. Sufficient sleep options, great to have 3 bathrooms too. Had everything we needed in kitchen! We had an issue with the upstairs AC but just called the number provided and they were able to walk us through resolving over the phone (we had to run and get new batteries for the remote, apparently can’t use it without working remote). Great view too! Bummed that it’s not available for our dates next year, but would definitely stay again if calendars and pricing align!

Quaint and low-key

After entering the property, your eyes are immediately met with a beautiful ocean view. The until itself is stalked up with cooking supplies, beach toys, and a laminated map of Maui(my personal favorite! The owner is very responsive and communicative. Love our stay at Papakea!

Great Location, Nice Condo, Spectacular View.

Loved our stay at this condo, it had plenty of space and was in a beautiful location. Our kids enjoyed the grounds and we were frequently visited by monk seals and even saw a whale swimming by. For the price point it’s is a lovely well kept condo that is perfect for families. Our family of 7 was very comfortable. Thank you!

Lovely Ocean View

Beautiful condo with all amenities you will ever need. We had seven in our group and were very comfortable. The rooms were all very nicely decorated and clean. The view of the ocean and the lovely gardens made the stay so special. Also, across the street are some great eating places and shave ice. Just down the street a few blocks is The wailers Village. Lots of shops and eateries plus free parking for Ka’anpali Beach. Beautiful sandy beach. Appreciate the beach wagon, chairs, boogie board and spare water shoes you provided. Location was perfect for going north to see blowhole or south to Kihei and further. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Papakea resort

You couldn’t ask for a nicer property ! The view from the balcony is incredible . Overlooking the fountain ,ponds, pool and breakers coming in from the ocean. The palm trees and all the vegetations are manicured perfectly and kept up each day by a very talented crew. The staff was very accommodating as well as the owner who helped us with flexible dates. We will definitely come back to this location in the future !! Papakae Paradise.

Amazing ocean front cobdo

The property was perfect for our family! Our kids are 17,18,22 and 22 and they each had their own bed without someone having to sleep on a sofa bed. This is very difficult to find and we were happy to have found it! The rooms were exactly what we needed and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach chairs and wagon etc were an added bonus! The A/C worked well, It was actually too cold at times on the main level and we turned it warner. The upstairs bedroom was too warm with the door shut so we left it open and the temperature was cool enough for us. The resort grounds were well kept and the staff were very nice and friendly. We will definitely refer friends to this property and will stay again if we return to Maui!

Magical Week Away

Our incredible week in Maui was aided by having a great home base at the Papakea Resort. The condo was well furnished, CLEAN and had everything we needed for the week. The a/c worked well to keep the place comfortable at all times and everything about the property was great. Ideally, there would be beach access right at the resort but everything was a short walk or drive and the location is fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Maui and couldn't have been more pleased with the unit.

Wonderful stay for my family of 7

H405 was the perfect set up for my family of 7. Everyone had their own bed-which is very important in my family. Plenty of space to move around. Description was right on and we didn't need anything for our stay of 9 nights. Had a 8 month old, and condo was equipped to make her stay a breeze...play and pack and high chair. Plenty of beach equipment for many fun filled days at the waters edge. We will definitely stay here again. when we return to Maui. So nice to have the whole family in the same unit. Only hiccup was AC in the loft-but property manager was on it and constantly in touch with me as the matter was corrected.

Perfect homemade for all your Maui Adventures

This was our first trip to Maui and we loved the location of this property. Easy access to beaches, minutes from shopping and made a great home base for all the activities. The property had lots of great amenities, plenty of room for 6 adults and two older kids, pools, golf and shuffle board. The view from the balcony was our favorite part, coffee in the morning and drinks at sunset. There was a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach gear. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was all great quality, not like the cheap stuff you see in other rentals. We would definitely book again next time we visit!

Doesn’t Get Much Better

This was my husband and I’s 7th trip to Maui and my in laws and extended families first. We typically stay a little up north but jumped on this spot a year ago given 6 adults and 2 children. It worked out perfectly, each adult couple had their own bathroom, and the upstairs provided the perfect private family area for my sister in law, her husband and two young daughters. The AC and fans kept the entire unit perfectly cool. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, especially appreciated the insulated wine cups and all the Tupperware. The bathrooms and laundry and little extras really made a difference. What’s truly amazing about this place is the view for one, and the amenities. The two pools, koi ponds, putting green, and swimming right out front were amazing. You can easily access the ocean from the steps and relax in the calm shallow water protected by a coral shelf. This resort is maintained meticulously, with staff out at all hours cleaning, maintaining and keeping guests comfortable. We all fell in love with this resort and unit and can’t wait to come back again. OH and the cats! Love all the cats….Simon, Lani, Ringo and more!!!!
