After a day full of exploration, we warmly invite you to unwind in our exquisite waterfront property, `Pelicans on Parade`. Experience the joy of alfresco living in our diverse entertaining areas, which include an inviting indoor space, an outdoor barbeque area, and a private jetty that hugs the river’s edge. Each gathering space is thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of room for family and friends to come together and savour a homemade feast while immersing themselves in the laid-back atmosphere that Hindmarsh Island exudes.

Our spacious kitchen is a culinary delight, boasting a generous cooking area complete with a dishwasher, stove, and wall oven. As you prepare meals, enjoy sweeping views of the tranquil water through the large windows surrounding the open-plan living area, allowing the beauty of nature to inspire your cooking.

When the sun dips below the horizon, retreat to our luxurious bedrooms, each one a sanctuary of comfort and style. Beautifully decorated in soft, modern hues, these rooms radiate warmth and welcome. The master bedroom features a sumptuous queen-sized bed and a private ensuite, while the other two bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with two single beds, provide a cozy and inviting space for restful nights.

As evening falls, gather in the living area to catch up on your favourite shows using our smart TV or delve into a captivating novel from our library while relaxing in our carefully positioned reading chair, perfect for gazing out at the mesmerizing water and wildlife views. For shared meals or lively game nights, our comfortable 7-seater round dining table offers a central hub for laughter and connection.

Hindmarsh Island is truly a paradise for travellers. Embrace the opportunity to embark on a local tour, Spirit of the Coorong, where you can witness the stunning beauty of the Coorong and its untamed wilderness, teeming with majestic Australian pelicans, elegant great egrets, playful silver gulls, and even the iconic emus. Important note: A security bond will be required for your stay. The bond will be refunded in full within 7 days of checkout, subject to the property being left in good condition.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a quiet building, perfect to relax and enjoy, so please no loud noise & no parties. Quiet Hours are between: 11PM and 8AM. We are in constant contact with the surrounding neighbours who will let us know if there is any disturbances.

NO SMOKING: Strictly NO smoking inside, on the balcony or in any outside areas.

PENALTIES: If any damage is caused, smoking takes place or there is evidence of a party there will be a $250 penalty plus we will request the repair costs plus the extra cleaning costs. If a guest coming in needs to be moved to another property due to the damage or smell of smoke still being present, we will also request the cost of that nights stay. Please respect these rules.
