Woonboten in Hill Country State Natural Area

'Nice cozy place to stay'

'This is an old Best Western which is in decent shape. The reception area has a beautiful stairway. Bed was comfortable but pillows were awful. A/C worked well which is important in Texas. The vending machine on the 3rd floor had 2 items in it. Not choices. Items. The room was good sized but there was only 1 place to sit. It was the desk chair. Not a lot of choices in Hondo so we will most likely stay there again.'

'We only stayed for one night, but I imagine it's fun to stay longer to enjoy the facilities. The cabins are nice and comfortable, the view from the porch is not very exciting. The grounds are spacious.'

'Clean room, air conditioning'
