'Lovely hotel for after your hikes. The onsens were nice. The temperature was perfect for me. It is a dated hotel but i think the amenities were still good. You also get a free bath salt for completing 3 of the onsens. The staff were very nice and accommodating. You can leave your luggage even before check in and I was able to access the rooftop or mountain observatory. The buffet dinner and breakfast has a lot of variety so I think everyone has something for them there'

'Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...

'We were warmly welcomed to Manseirou after 4 days of hiking the Kumano Kodō. The hotel was clean and peaceful and the onsen was perfect for soaking away the soreness from the hike. We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel and a nice view of the harbor.'
