'Near the beach, friendly staff. Problems were solved (sometimes after a reminder). Quality of the breakfast was good.
Room was definitely dated. Although clean not in depth. Closer doors were very tired, safe was unresponsive (solved), roaches in the kitchenette (solved), bathroom door stuck and scraped.
Staff at the front desk very friendly.'

'I’ve stayed multiple times at the brick kiln golf resort and lodge , and played the golf course multiple times as well.The course -hotel and restaurant (the nest) , are top notch. The thing that constantly stands out- is the staff !!! Always a pleasure to interact and connect with. This particular team— pro shop - Garrett and Owen- and the nest - Cayla - and check in personnel were - as usual- just an absolute pleasure.
Keeps me and my family coming back when visiting our daughter at CNU'

'This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. '

'Check in was at the Decoys Restaurant. See the hostess. The cottages were wonderful. Luxury custom bathrooms and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of seating in cottage, very good mattress and bedding, good streaming tv, fridge, coffee, water, etc. At first did not see the coffee but later found it in a wooden duck lol. It is a bargain to stay here considering the waterfront location and view. Comfortable porch sitting furniture. Walkability to Decoys Restaurant and waterfront...

'Lodge Room quiet and sheets were clean but room worn with water stain in lamp shade. Elevator brass and woodwork needed polishing and dusting. Carpet dirty and worn. Crusty mineral build up around faucets. On the CW property but in the back 40 for lodge rooms. Food tasty in Barley Tea for dinner. Good coffee cafe in the am. Breakfast in Traditions has a decent breakfast.'
