« The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities. »

« This was a comfortable, roomy cottage. We used it as a home base for exploring the Isles of Harris and Lewis. The owners were friendly and very responsive. This is still one of the spots we rave about after our trip. There is a great little coffee/tea/shop just at the end of the drive with a friendly proprietor and even friendlier doggo. »

Penser à faire des courses avant d’arriver cependant. Nous y avons passé une très belle semaine sur une île absolument magnifique. N’hésitez pas. »

« The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures, it was airy, clean and spacious with lots of room for the whole group to get together but plenty of quieter space for some 'me time'. We already know the island and have lots of family there and Jan and Callum offered to come and extend our table if they were coming over, asked where we needed safety gates and provided top class toddler safe equipment. « This is a truly beautiful home in an incredible location. The home is so spacious and is well set up for a very comfortable stay. The setting--literally at the end of the road--offers peace and quiet along with incredible views, and it is fairly central for day trips to the island's sites. « Our stay was wonderful. The house was extremely comfortable, and the location was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect as a base for exploring the island, and the host offered lovely touches with the helpful restaurant suggestions and provided grocery basics. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to the island. »
