« Room was clean, and windows were excellently glazed to prevent any traffic noise from the streets. Very convenient with the bus stop right outside to get to the ferry as well as Newport/anywhere else on the isle. Osbourne house right across the street. food options were limited around the pub, but the floating bridge to Cowes conveniently down the road by either a 20 min walk or the bus. »

« Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped room with plenty of space. Only drawback was that it was right over the main bar. No A/C but fan provided and open windows allowed good cooling and airflow later in the evening. Staff allowed very early check in and provided a good vegan menu for lunch - both greatly appreciated. Plenty of space in car park with camp site near by but not intruding. »

« Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. »
