'Relative to what else is available on the island this is a really great option for couples. Host provided detailed and useful information pre-trip, space was clean, bed was comfortable, AC blew cold, outside area felt very private, and overall it was everything we could ask for out of the property itself. The caretaker even provided some fresh bananas and papayas from their property. The only thing that might keep us from booking this property again is it's location. The north shore is very wet...

'Staying at this property is a dream! Wonderful amenities, location and access to activities. The house is gorgeous and a very relaxing. There are a few details worth mentioning: to walk into town it's quite a hike in the hot sun, it's easier to ride one of the provided bikes. The house is situated along a busy road, so take care when biking. Also note the bed mattresses are extremely firm, in case that matters to you. We would go back there a hundred times over!'

'Beautiful property. Close walk to beach. They had sand chairs, an umbrella, some toys and boogie boards to borrow which was amazing. The property texted me before check in. I texted back to verify they had boogie boards to borrow, they told me no they did not have boogie boards to borrow. 'Truly the most perfect house on the most perfect spot of the north shore if Kauai--incredible views, beautiful swimmable beach. The house and everything in it is top quality, lovely and an incredible space to relax and enjoy Haena with family and friends. Leila is an amazing host who is incredibly responsive and helpful with anything you need. We've stayed at several homes on the beach in Haena and KAULANA NAUE is by far the best.'

'Great home in a great location. Welcome book with all the info you need for your stay. Walls are a bit thin (we had a baby with us and needed to make sure we were quiet in the entire unit when she was sleeping), but the space was perfect (spacious and clean with all the things you could ever need). Complex had a pool but it wasn't anything special and we mostly drove to different beaches anyway. Host was quick to respond and very nice. Price seems a bit high, but overall would stay again.'

'View of the ocean from the deck and inside daybed by window are what truly make this unit stand out. The nearby Foodland has excellent food choices prepared or to cook at home, which was nice because it rained often during our stay. '

'This is a great property in Princeville. You get a peek of the ocean from your back patio, but there's also an amazing huge tree that makes the perfect view. Kitchen is well stocked and even had a soft sided cooler that we utilized for long beach days. There were beach chairs and an umbrella that we got a ton of use out of as well. Each room has a ceiling fan and a floor fan that kept us cool enough at night with no A/C. The pool is small, but has an 8ft deep end and our kids LOVED it. Foodland...
