'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'The location is central to the harbour, close to food vendors as well as 2 restaurants. The property is quite clean. Our room did not get serviced over the 4 days we were there. The staff were all friendly and quite helpful. There is a patio garden as well as the rooftop view of the harbour. This is our second stay at this hotel.'

'Hotel was very clean. Rooms very spacious. Easy in and out . Elevators handy. Location is great- only negative waa the noise from the bar across the road which was insane lasting to 3 am in the morning. Breakfast was good.'

'I can not say enough nice things about the staff at Best Western plus Chocolate Lake. All of them were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was always spotless and the restaurant in the hotel has very good food. I will be staying there for my future trips to Halifax.'
