Malabar Cove - BORD DE LAC, CALME ET RELAXANT ! INCLUT CLIMATISATION ET KAYAKS !

  • Malabar Cover is a cozy, quiet, and relaxing lakefront home on the Little Bay De Noc portion of Lake Michigan. The home has a huge backyard on the lake, which provides lots of space for kids to play. Three kayaks are included! The backyard also has a large deck with outdoor furniture and a very nice firepit for bonfires. Inside, the home is very cozy with a woodsy and nautical theme throughout the home. This is a great place for exploring the U.P. or just relaxing and enjoying the beauty!


    PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

    1) WATER: The property has well water, which can cause the water to possibly have an iron taste and slight odor. We recommend using bottled water.

    2) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited at the property.

    3) AIR CONDITIONING: The property has 2 mini-split A/C units (one in the living room and one in the kitchen), which does keep the house generally quite cool. The home does not have central air conditioning though.

    4) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

    5) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

    6) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

We loved the location and the property. However, it could have been cleaner. The kitchen sink was dirty and had icky food particles in it. When reaching out to the property manager, she never responded.

Malabar Resort was great for our ice fishing trip. Easy on and off the ice. We enjoyed the den with a fireplace and tv to relax at night.

Best time the weather was perfect to spend our day/night out by the fire-pit to enjoy the Lake! Last evening we watched the Northern Lights!The home was very comfy could not have been more comfortable for 4 friends to spends a long weekend!

We had a nice week of just relaxing, we did a waterfall loop and a bit of local siteseeing. The house was clean, comfortable and well equiped.

We had to book this last minute, Somehow, the place was left messy- food in the refrigerator, food in the cupboards, and ants in one of the bathrooms and bedrooms. The floors were dirty. I think that the host didn't realize that we had booked a last minute reservation. Hopefully, it will be better prepared for the next guests. We left after one night and the host graciously gave us a refund. The lake view is beautiful. The place has lots of privacy and a huge yard for games. The water softener was extremely loud whenever it kicked on. The floors have a lot of uneven spots- this place is not suitable for anyone with a risk of tripping.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay! Particularly loved the huge and comfy living room with great views of the lake along with a large television, which provided for a fun family movie night! We also had a lot of fun hiking at the Days River Nature Trail, which is just 1.8 miles from the cabin.

Relaxing lake life week

Wonderful property. Close enough to anything we'd need in Escanaba and still felt "away from it all" during our stay. Check in was simple and easy, and while the host was always only a text or phone call away, we found ourselves wanting for nothing. Such a great stay.
