8/10
Our multigeneration family group of 4 adults, 2 teens, a 9 y.o. and dog enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated that the driveway was not steep, and nor were there any scary drop-offs nearby. Beware of bears and keep car and house doors and trash locked at all times because the bears came frequently to check the cars and trash, and didn't hesitate to walk onto the porches. Some of the house is a work in progress, with renovations incomplete in the basement bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room, but it got really chilly down there even while the rest of the house was comfortable. Only two of the pool cues were usable. Were warned that the lock pad on the front door can be finicky, and it definitely was. Took several tries to get in and lock behind us when leaving. Kitchen was well appointed. Expected a coffee POT per listing, but arrived to find a Keurig. A little dissapointing for my FIL who prefers and came prepared to make drip coffee. I liked the Kuerig and there were plenty of coffee pods provided. Beds were comfy, decor is really cute. Bathroom supplies/towels were plentiful. We didn't try the hot tub. We were not able to use the provided guest wifi info, but figured out a workaround. No direct views of Gatlinburg or mountains, but we knew that from the listing photos. Walked across the street to see the 4th of July fireworks. Overall very nice, somewhat private space that worked really well for us. With the ongoing tlc in progress it's going to only get better!
