Cabin was very clean. Every room was spotless. Pictures don't give this place justice. 5 of us stayed everyone slept comfortably. Road is narrow and stepe going up and down but manageable. Would recommend smaller vehicle. We would definitely stay again
Lovely view. Housekeeping is not great. Dirt, hair and bugs along the baseboards. Dust on side tables in bedrooms. Lawn not cut, tall grass. Did contact the host about the bed bug evidence we found on the headboards, along with photos of âpoopâ trails from the bed bugs, and the bites on the arm of one of our family members. We were unable to use the master bedroom because of this, so then did not have enough bed areas for our group of 9. This also caused use a lot of work to decontaminate all of our clothes, luggage and vehicles. When I mentioned to the host that I thought they should refund some of my cost they ghosted me on the messaging. Enjoyed Gatlinburg, but not happy with our stay!
The location, property, and cabin were beautiful. It was spacious and we had an enjoyable stay. Our only complaint was the lack of communication with the owner. We were also accused of bringing pets to this location and were told we were going to be charged additional fees. To clarify, we do not own any pets and definitely didnt bring any. We did inform the owner of this.
The lovely cabin did not disappoint. What an amazing cabin! The view of the mountains was stellar. Besides the slight view of a cabin roof to the south, it was complete privacy. Would absolutely stay there again. Warning the one way road is steep and narrow but we got used to it after the first time. Great location about 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Felt
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was wonderful! The views were amazing, the cabin was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more!). I was pleasantly surprised by the items supplied in the kitchen. I've stayed in many rental homes/cabins, and this one was by far the most equipped. The host was very nice to deal with and promptly replied to my questions. We also enjoyed a lovely visit on the deck by a mama bear and her 2 cubs one morning. We would definitely stay here again!
Liked the cabin very much. Would of been nice to know we needed to bring our own salt and pepper and spices some what hard to get ahold of host also. But overall was pretty good time.
The road up to the cabin is pitch black at night. It is a very narrow, steep, and single paved road with no paint line with incredibly tight turns. I recommend renting a jeep or smaller (4 wheel drive)Upon arrival, there were lots of cobwebs and dirt on the porch and front door. I expected some minor debris given the location in the woods but this porch clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. When we entered the cabin, there were bugs EVERYWHERE. On the floors, curtains, bathtub, shower stall. For the first hour, we walked around sweeping up dead and alive bugs. We filled probably two dust pans that first night, but needed to sweep more the next day. I wish VRBO allowed us to post pictures with our reviews. For a 300 cleaning fee, I expect a clean cabin. We selected this cabin over others because it had a fire pit, however it didnât work! It was a gas fire pit, but was not connected to a gas line. All beds only had a quilt, no top sheet. There was a mildew smell on the lowest floor where the bedrooms and bathrooms are. The decorations were adorable, lots of woodland animals throughout. The overhead lights were very cooled toned and bright, think of morgue lighting, not cozy at all. The view was the reason why it was so hard for us to decide to leave. But the stress was not worth it. We ultimately decided to cut our time short by a few days. We knew VRBOâs return policy wouldnât let us get our money back, but we didnât want to waste our time off at this cabin.
This cabin was ideal for all 7 of us. Everyone was accommodated with a bed to sleep in. The amazing views from this cabin are just breathtaking. The drive into Gatlinburg was easy and we were able to go various attractions without any problems. We were even treated âŠfrom a safe distanceâŠa black momma bear and her cubs as they wondered by the cabin! The-only thing I would change in this cabin is the drawer pulls. These are pointed and not conducive for small kids.
Was a great vacation on the great cabin my wife, kids and a friend we enjoy a 100% everything in the cabin and on the mountain i will get back sooner đ
We enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony is beautiful. I had my in-laws, my 5 children, and my husband stay here. Everyone enjoyed it. The hot tub, fire pit for smores, grilling on the gas grill, the jacuzzi tub and the rain style shower head in the master bath, and the large kitchen were all things we loved and enjoyed about our stay. We had a mama black bear with 2 cubs come for a visit and climb on the balcony. It was a awesome experience to have.
Our weekend stay at a cabin near Gatlinburg, TN, was nothing short of exceptional. While I can't share specifics about the cabin due to privacy concerns, I can wholeheartedly recommend looking into cabin rentals in the Gatlinburg area. The combination of stunning scenery, cozy accommodations, and proximity to outdoor activities makes it a perfect destination for a memorable weekend getaway.
