Mountain Dew is an experience unlike other cabins in the Smokies. This
wonderful cabin was co
mpletely remodeled in 2017.
Located in the golf course community of Cobbly Nob, Mountain Dew is a large three-bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 11 guests and offers privacy, breath-taking mountain views, and many amenities.

Guests are welcomed to Mountain Dew by floor-to-ceiling windows that provide wonderful views. A well-stocked custom kitchen has everything guests need to prepare meals. The log dining table has seating for eight and opens to the main living room with a fireplace and 55" flat-screen television. The master suite [ king bed ] is on the main level of the cabin and includes hand-crafted furnishings. On the main level there is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living area

The lower level of Mountain Dew is a great hangout for the entire family: Guests will enjoy a pool table, video arcade game, karaoke machine, board games, books, movies, and a 55" television. Also downstairs is a camp-themed bedroom with twin-over-queen bunk bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area on this same level.

On the top level of Mountain Dew is a luxurious and private master suite with a king size bed. This "cabin penthouse" offers a large, private deck for unobstructed views of the mountains. The penthouse deck includes comfortable adirondack chairs and a unique fire table. The amenities for this suite includes , a coffee/wine bar with glass-front refrigerator, a walk-in closet, a flat-screen television, and Kohler spa shower with built-in Bluetooth speakers.

Outside, guests can take in amazing mountain views from the wraparound main floor deck, cook out at the Weber grilling station, relax in a rocking chair, or play a game of checkers on the game table while listening to your music on the outdoor speakers. In the evenings, guests will enjoy watching the sun set behind the mountains, and star gaze in the unobstructed sky or view the twinkling lights of Gatlinburg. Mountain Dew has several outdoor games for guests including horse shoes, jars, and bag toss.

Mountain Dew also features an incredible, whole family-sized Max Hydrotherapy Deluxe Spa with built-in bluetooth speakers. Guests will enjoy watching TV from the hot tub on the outdoor television. The lower level also features a twin-over-queen log bunk bed. All tv's are wi-fi based except the outdoor tv which is cable. There are pods both upstairs and downstairs to boost the wi fi in those areas

Mountain Dew is located in the community of Cobbly Nob, which provides its guests access to three swimming pools, tennis courts, walking trails, and preferred access to Bent Creek Golf Club. Several entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are quite close, including Cosby (10 minutes), Greenbier (5 minutes), and Gatlinburg (20 minutes). Opportunities for zip lining, mountain biking, and river rafting are all within a short drive.

Great Place to unwind and relax

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a bear visit us twice, drove to caves, visited the Great Smokey Mountains, took some back roads, did the 'mandatory' Gatlinburg visits. The cabin is located very nicely at the end of the road, nice mountain view, great hot tub, karaoke machine and tons of games (we didn't try them all but they are there :) ).All in all: sometimes one needs to go to the mountains rather than the beach!

We loved our stay at Mt. Dew! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. We loved the game room and the decks with gorgeous views. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway.

Amazing views!!

The place is amazing!! It has nearly everything you could ask for as well! It made it very convenient for everyone. It even had spices and towels along with all utensils needed. Besides the it raining all week, it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!!P.s. the front door wouldn't lock. The knob spins, but no action. I'm sure it'll be fixed here soon.

Family Trip Early January 2025

The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. The kids loved the pool table, hot tub and pac man game! However when we arrived after 5pm, the cabin hadn’t been cleaned. I called the number from the email, left a message, and waited for a call back. A man called me and said he would talk to his assistant to see what happened. She then called me back and apologized that somehow the cleaning crew missed our cabin. We decided to stay but it was a big inconvenience after a long day of driving. The cleaning crew did come the next morning. They let us stay an extra night at no cost.

Beautiful location..far enough from town to feel relaxed.

Loved the location. Cabin was overall clean.. detailed cleaning needed..the glass doors/ windows and lots of cob webs around the wood. Furniture needs upgrading, need some recliners and couches were uncomfortable to set on through a movie ( main living room). Kitchen stove needs leveled at bare minimum.. eyes don’t set flat so everything runs to one side of skillets. But kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Hot tub was fabulous! Grill was great! A good weekend with the family ❤️

Great for families!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with our adult kids! We all enjoyed the game room downstairs! It had everything we needed for family time including the popcorn buckets! The property and cabin were well-maintained and cleaned. A couple of improvements that I can think of is it would've been nice to have more towels available. There were only 2 per bathroom. Maybe 4 per bathroom so we're not having to do laundry on day 2/3. Also, the bed in the main floor bedroom might need to have the mattress rotated or something. It really dips in the middle. Other than that, we were well pleased with our stay. Even had a really close encounter with a bear at the front door at 1am. That was a little scary, but def made for an exciting and unforgettable memory lol. I would highly recommend your cabin and consider staying in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Made the whole trip!

This cabin was the best rental property I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at. It had every amenity you could imagine- hot tub, pool table, karaoke machine, tons of board games, a towel warmer! This cabin made our stay in the Gatlinburg area so much fun. The renters were so nice and they helped us navigate getting up to the cabin on the first day of Hurricane Helene. After a scary drive, we were so relieved to arrive and be greeted by such a gorgeous property. Definitely stay here if you want the best experience!

4th of July trip

Mt. Dew was a perfect spot to come back and relax after a day exploring in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and in the towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view from the porch was beautiful and we appreciated the location at the end of the drive - it felt a bit more private. The hot tub and pool table in the basement were almost in nonstop use. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for the size of our group of 9 adults and 2 children. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will suggest this cabin to others.
