'Wonderful hotel that is walkable to everything in downtown Blowing Rock. Property is new and very clean. Plenty of parking on site. They even offer earplugs (we didn't need them), eye shades, a steamer, and phone charging plugs built into the lamps. 'Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. 'This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. 'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. 'Double room on 2nd floor was clean, fresh and well kept. Staff at nighttime check-in was pleasant and more friendly over the day staff. Breakfast was fine and had variety.'
