Vind je ideale hotel in Beartown State Forest

'Property is sprawling and unwieldy. Couldn't find the main office for 10 minutes (went to 2 other buildings). Check-in - 4 people at the desk, but only 1 actually checking people in. Lower floor of "villa" smelled funny. Mildewy smell in tub. "Market" is actually a tiny area with some cold drinks, candy and "breakfast" - which is microwaved eggs and pancakes served by unhappy people. Coffee was instant and priced at $3.25 a cup. Pool area was chaotic and unsupervised. Roving bands of teenagers....

'Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Alles werkend en aanwezig op de kamer. Ontbijt prima ,schoon. Voorzieningen in de buurt aanwezig. Aanrader!'

'Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full.'

'Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Parking/access was easy and stress-free. Anyone with bad allergies keep in mind that this is out in the country - grass/hay, farms around etc. This is a big part of what we enjoyed about it but we know it can be a problem for some people.'

'Clean, quiet, friendly, no frills but everything needed. Mattresses were very good.'

'Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice.'

'Okay place to spend a night but don’t expect any service. This place uses remote “staff” to run the joint. I called the “desk” around 6:30 pm with a request. Got a call back around noon the next day, when we were well on our way. No soaps, no shower cap. Only plus was an urn of good coffee in the otherwise empty lobby. Not much for $160 or so.'

'Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great (love that homemade yogurt) and Laura, the innkeeper, was lovely. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.'

'Our room was very clean with the exception of the bathroom. There was toothpaste “splatter” on the bathroom faucet and a brown ring around the tub. The building has seen better days. There were giant tarps hanging from the second floor railing when we pulled in. The staff was really nice. At around 9pm there were people sitting right by our door smoking. Not to fun being awoken by the garbage man at 6am.'

'The pictures shown on your site are not representative of this motel. We pulled into the drive and turned around and left without even checking in. There was debris leaning on the building outside of several rooms, the landscaping and parking lot was over grown. You could not even see the pool from how overgrown the weeds and bushes are. If the outside is this unkempt there was little expectation of the condition of the rooms. So disappointing that the online photos are so deceptive.'

'Heel goed hotel. Management was heel goed. Eerste hotel waar ze het fooi probleem voor de kamermeisjes goed hebben opgelost; er ligt een envelop waar je geld in kan doen voor het kamermeisje op naam dat je kamer heeft schoongemaakt; je geeft het envelopje vervolgens aan de receptie af die er voor zorgt dat het geld bij het betreffende kamermeisje terecht komt. Zeer uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Jammer dat de kamers wat gehorig waren; wij konden het telefoongesprek van de man in de kamer...

'Room was no smoking room and smelled like cigarettes. Huge stain on chair and couch in room. 2 pillows on each bed, super flat. Linens on bed were thin, no comforter. Called front desk to ask for extra pillows, they said they didn't have access to any linens "after hours". Asked for pull out cot so one person could sleep alone in 2 person bed due to back issues, stated they did not allow roll outs/cots even when we offered to pay extra. Price was outrageous for lack of amenities, no...
