'I booked a suite hoping it might be a bit nicer than just a room. The room was sparse and fairly clean, but done very economically with little appeal to the eye. The towel racks were rusted. The tub fixtures were very cloudy as if they didn't scrub them and the soap scum had built up. We used this hotel because we had a pet and the pet fee was only $25 compared to the $75 they charge at other hotels. We have a 5lb dog that doesn't shed, so felt $75 was a bit steep. 'Love the amenities for the price. The kitchenette was really clean and had all the basics. Staff was very helpful and even offered cold water at check-in on a hot day. Hope to have a reason to return to Kitchener overnight so I can book this hotel again!'

'The 'Residence & Conference Centre' is a college dormitory turned into a (partial) hotel. The "suite" we reserved for a one-night stay was a very basic 2+ person dorm room, best suitable for couples or people (friends, family members) who prefer to have a room for themselves (since there were two separate bedrooms).
