« Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. »

« Was there on business the property is clean and has everything you need! If you don’t, Hans is more than happy to help you out, just let him know. He’s a great guy. Shower is a bit slow but it’s a cabin so that’s wasn’t an issue really. Lovely quiet place :) »

« The host, Dawn is very welcoming, he helped us with the late check in and even gave us a small basket of food for the morninh after. The cottage is precisely as advertised, clean, and spacious. It is not far from the airport nor Edinburgh center (30 mins drive) and is located in a nice village with grocery shops at 5 to 10 mins walk. We highly recommand you booking it for your visits. »

Only issue was high back chair that was damaged with no note to say it had been noticed and or reported, we emailed Cottages.com but no reply ! « The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...
