'Very clean and pleasant; close to the Cahokia Mounds Historic Site and St. Louis isn't too far, either... and get this: at 5:30 in the evening they have a Happy Hour, which they call Kickback, with free food and drinks. Read that sentence again! After a long drive (over 400 miles for us), it was nice to relax and not even have to go out for dinner. Breakfast was also gratis, and very good, as well. 'The front desk people were fantastic! The room was an accessible room. Handheld shower head was quite high and heavy. It was a tub-/not walk in shower (just be aware). There was no microwave in the room. I don’t consider a microwave an exceptional amenity anymore. Don’t remember staying anywhere without one for years. 'We were put in a pet friendly room. The room smelled like it as well. We did not bring our pet. The pillows were half the size of regular pillows. Pubic hair on supposed clean towels. Pool was closed. The breakfast in the morning was sparse. Better than motel 8 across the parking lot. Safe space to stay.'

'This hotel was the absolute worst! The room was old and dirty. The elevator had a racial slur carved into the door. The staff was not very responsive. The beds were horrible. I would not stay there for free. I wish I could get my money back. The rooms did not look anything like the pictures. The breakfast was very lacking. For example the yougart was past the expiration, but since they froze it, they put it out to serve the guests. This was the worst experience that I have ever had'
