The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays.
The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions

« Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean.
Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared.
A book regarding the building was also an interesting read.

« The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel âbut maybe not - we are quite expensiveâ. »

« Well presented within walking distance of town centre, pub's and restaurants. Anne/Dave đ(building manager) was lovely, she worked hard to keep the place so clean and nothing was a problem if you asked đ stairs were challenging to the top floor but we managed and wi-fi was a bit sketchy (none at all in our room) hopefully it will be sorted by the owner. « Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire. »
