The house was an easy and quick walk to the beach and the owner was easy to get a hold of. My only negative was that the house was not very clean. I had to clean the showers, kitchen counters, and vacuum the day we got there. Other than that I have zero complaints.

Amazing family vacation

Comfortable beach house. My family loved the amount of space inside, the location to the beach was also a major bonus. My only downside was that all the beds, except 1, had plastic mattress covers, which made sleeping difficult. But for the price, the house is perfect.

It was a great location, and mostly clean (small things- like dirt, spilled items under sink in bathroom, dirt on floor by lamps) nothing major. We had a great time with plenty of room, beds were super comfortable too! Only disappointment was the lack of AC in the upstairs, although the fans helped some, was fairly stifling. Would recommend more seating in the living room space. Again- great place and would stay again!!!

Great location

Nestled in trees gives a privacy to the property! The walk to the beach was approximately 2-3 minutes and the beach was not crowded at all. Neighbors were very friendly and talkative. The kids enjoyed playing basketball and table tennis while waiting on the old folks ! 2 coffee makers was a pleasant surprise for those with different tastes. We will stay again !

Great house!

Had a problem getting someone to answer come my check in time to get the code to get in and the wifi password. Once that was handled had to run to store n grab cleaner to clean up (walking into cobwebs and dirty floors) after that it was great! Beautiful house and location very close to the water!

Perfect location room enough for everyone

Awesome location walk to the beach! Had an amazing amount of towels. We ran into some snags which I told the owner about leaking washing machine etc but no big deals. All in all would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful for a large family

My mother in law loved the kitchen. We had a great time here. I was pretty nervous around the stairs with my two young kids since you can see in between them and there’s a little gap but we were just extra careful and chose the room downstairs and had no issues!

Beach week

Well, we love the decorations and the proximity to the beach. However, there were food and ants under my kids bed and the washing machine kept leaking. We ending up leaving a day early to avoid the flooding machine. If that issue was fixed it would have been great. I also missed a lot of beach time waiting for a repair man who did not show up.

You get what you pay for.

We understand things happen. We get to the property and find that it was dirty. We didnt know until check in that the washer machine was not useable and that last through our entire trip. The home itself had not been mopped or swept in some time. Then i took the time to clean before settling in with a shop vacuum and broom. As that was all that was available. The space was efficient for us as a family of 5 . The dinner table is too small. The location is accurate as far as a short walk to the beach.

Overall had a great time. We really enjoyed the ping pong table and that the house had plenty of utensils, plates, cups, etc. Especially plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc. We had a great stay and loved the house!

Great location- spacious for my family

The location of the house is great-it’s only a short walk to the public beach access. Plenty of room for my family of seven and they had fun using the ping pong table and Basketball game. There was consistency in other reviews, such as the warmth of the front room, though fans were available. We also left the door cracked and was comfortable. The house does have an odor when you walk in, like a musky smell or animal smell, but it is clean and it was not overwhelming. All of our questions were addressed in a timely manner. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property for a family.

We had a great visit, enjoying the quick walk to the beach, shops and food right near by and the home itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable! Definitely recommend staying here! We will certainly do so as a family the next time that we travel to the coast. :)

We had a death in our family and a storm which prevented us from coming both days but overall the property was clean, convenient and welcoming. My only bad experience was that my bed fell at some point during the night for no reason. Other than that it was good. The property is close to the beach and Mac Daddy's arcade. The kids enjoyed that

Overall, staying here was just ok. The upstairs is very hot, even with a large fan it didn't cool down until about 2am every night. The bunk bed doesn't have a ladder - I understand they are meant for children but there was no way for any of us adults to get up there - just something to keep in mind when booking. We saw many bugs including roaches, which is understandable considering it is the beach and summer but still. On the plus side, the location is great and has very easy access to the beach.

Do not recommend NO AC in half of upstairs

First impressions of the home were that it is close to a busy road but a cute house. Upon entering it smelled very strongly of dog urine. However I guess I understand that since they allow pets it is what it is. The dog room is under the stairs and my dog and any dog really can just fit through the steps. The main problem with the house is that there is no heat or AC in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. It’s was super hot in the whole upstairs!! Everyone was so hot and uncomfortable. I messaged the host about this issue, asking for partial credit for our unpleasant experience and they offered a fan. It was at least 85 degrees and a fan is not enough. After all the messages were exchanged the host said that I was not allowed to leave a review. I’ll say that we managed to make the best of our trip and the house had some positives as well. It was clean, decently furnished and about 5 minute walk to the beach. However due to the host and the AC issue I would strongly recommend against renting this home.

This house is very cute and does have all the amenities listed.It is a short walk to beach, which was nice.This is a new listing, and my first time using VRBO so I was a little skeptical .We did have a few issues, but the property manager was very diligent working with us to clear up the problems! We had a large group and I would say overall our stay was very enjoyable!

Perfect!!!

Had such a wonderful time staying in this home for the week, it fit all of us and it was a bit cozy but we made it work! The house seemed brand new and like we could have been the first or second group to ever stay there. Highly recommend this property, affordable and accommodating in a perfect spot on the island, and Steven was so quick to respond and so helpful whenever we needed it.

Awesome host and place to stay

Pros: -Awesome host -Awesome place -The place was well provided with silverware, cups, toilet paper, plates, napkins, linens, towels, broomsticks, and vacuum cleaner. -seems like a safe and nice neighborhood -plenty of parking Cons: -checkout notes weren’t cleared when reading the pdf files vs what was sent on email. We did use the folder on the table in the house as our guide when we had checked out. -no grill and no outdoor seatings -The little basketball counter thing didn’t work - just have your little kiddos race and count on there own once they score, they’ll still have so much fun. -lot of critters (i.e roaches etc) and spiders (mostly the friendly ones - daddy long legs) crawling through the cracks on the front door and other areas to get inside the house -lot of dog hair on couch, assuming it may have been from previous guests dog(s). Definitely a great stay. You won’t regret it. Great and awesome host!
