'My immediate family (me, wife, 4 teenager) as well as some extended family (brother, sister, and her daughter) stayed here for a week. Wow. What a place. We did go do some local sightseeing in Halifax and Lunenburg, but our best times were at the place. It has all you need for a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone, swimming off the dock, an incredible view, and a wonderful, super responsive host. It gets our highest recommendation.'

'Beautiful home and property. Very spacious and well decorated! The beautiful table set for us in the dining room was a wonderful surprise! The toys for the kids next to the cinema room were also greatly appreciated. My favourite part, though, was the view and the tranquility in the morning, drinking my morning coffee from the upper deck, looking out to Fletcher’s Lake and watching a variety of birds fly past and through the trees on the property. '

'From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. The owners live next door, so we stopped over to let them know we were there and to get dinner suggestions. They gave us our privacy, but let us know they were there if we needed anything. This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. The weather was perfect, we were able to take the kayaks two mornings before heading out for a day of sight seeing. We will definitely stay there again...

'We had an excellent stay at this VRBO. It was within walking distance of my sister in laws house, so it was perfect for our little family. Clean, and had everything you needed, including parking! The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet, so we always felt safe! My only suggestion would be to provide more toilet paper. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days and only had 3 small rolls of toilet paper. "Positief: Gemakkelijk te vinden en niet ver van het vliegveld Halifax. Mooi gelegen aan het meer, genoeg parkeerplaatsen. Bedden prima. Kregen het idee van een beetje vergane glorie van de Inn. Negatief: Vreemd om een extra deposit te moeten betalen bij aankomst terwijl je de hele verblijfsom al hebt betaald. Ook vreemd dat de bar al om 20.00 uur dicht ging terwijl het restaurant dicht was. Tijd werd wel wat opgerekt, maar raar. Qua koffie serveren, alleen gewone koffie/americano, geen cappuccino of zo mogelijk. Deur badkamer sloot ook niet zo goed en koelkastje te koud om er insuline in te bewaren. Sommige dingen, zoals airco waren aan onderhoud toe."
