We chose this property for its proximity to the river since the purpose of our trip was for fishing. It served that purpose. The room was clean. The inn is pet friendly and the rooms even have dog beds and clean-up baggies. If a dog has ever been in room 102, you wouldn't know it. It didn't smell like a dog and we didn't see any hair. The room did have an odor that I believe was from the dehumidifier/air freshener. I would have preferred a more neutral smell or no smell. The unit was to be left running, which provided some white noise at night. Our room wasn't soundproof, so that white noise was helpful. If we were to stay here again, I would request an upstairs room so we wouldn't hear people walking above us.The room had a nice sized mini fridge that held a large pizza box, plus other items. It could've held a gallon sized jug as well.The electronic door lock was easy to use and secure. The smart TV allowed us to log into our personal accounts.The only real downside to staying here for us was the beds. We are used to a firmer mattress and ours was soft and we felt like we were sinking into the middle. We asked about another room with a firmer mattress and were told that all the rooms have the same mattresses. If you don't mind a soft mattress or don't care, it may not be an issue for you, but we won't be able to stay here again because of it.The owners were very responsive.
