Locatie ligt redelijk dicht bij het centrum, alles is op loopafstand te doen mits je goed ter been bent. Echter zijn en geen ramen die open kunnen in de hotelkamers. Dit is niet prettig met slapen.

A safe bet!
The YOTEL hotel is nicely situated, just outside of the hustle and bustle of London and offers all one would expect from a four-star hotel. Rooms are fairly small, but modern. The bed is adjustable and the toilet and shower are separate spaces. The fridge unfortunately didn’t work plus there are no amenities such as a water cooker to make a cup of tea. If you skip daily housekeeping, you are rewarded with a voucher to be spent in the hotel bar. All in all, a good choice!

Sfeer is gezellig en ongedwongen in het hotel. Fijn was dat er altijd gratis koffie of thee te krijgen was bij de bar beneden. Het ontbijt is basic maar goed. Miste wel een stoel op de kamer. Je moet daarom altijd op bed zitten als je wilt zitten. Verder zijn er genoeg restaurants in de buurt.

Personeel was grotendeels erg vriendelijk en bereid om met je mee te denken. De kamer was schoon, op wat stoffige planken na. Het viel mij wel op dat afspraken niet altijd werden nagekomen. Wij hadden een dag van tevoren housekeeping aangevraagd en dat was akkoord, maar de afgesproken dag waren ze niet geweest. Wij wilden die avond al wel graag nieuwe kussenslopen en die zouden geregeld worden, maar ook dat was niet geregeld. Toen zou de schoonmaak die dag erna komen, maar toen ik voor de zekerheid navraag deed bij de receptie bleek er niks doorgegeven te zijn. Al met al tevreden, maar omdat we overal achteraan moesten heeft dat wel voor irritatie gezorgd.

Property was less than average in terms of cleanliness and service. My shower and toilet area had orange and black mold and the shower leaked water on the floor every time. The cafe closes at 10AM daily and when I asked front desk staff for a recommendation to eat brunch he said that I should just walk down the street and I’d find one. Neighborhood is very walkable.

Had to leave bathroom door open when using the toilet. Could not get up with door closed. Did not like the colours around the tv. I would have wanted white. I find the colours nauseating. I liked the place and beds were comfy. Very quiet too

Clean and minimalistic place, though there is a one design flaw I’d like to point out; the water closet and shower areas are different and the every time you shower the shower water seeps into wc. I also wish they had more hanging options for wet/used towels. No other complaints

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sehr gute Betten, sehr gute Lage zum Zentrum. Frühstück einfach, Frühstücksraum zu klein und zu laut. Defekte Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer wurde, trotz Reklamation, nicht behoben; auch keine Rückmeldung erhalten.

Lage perfekt. Service ebenso. Frühstücken muss man im Yotel zum Gück ja nicht unbedingt. Gibt viel besseres um die Ecke. Nur eine Bettdecke ist auch nicht jedermanns Geschmack. Und gegen die Aktivitäten nachts aus dem Nachbarzimmer kann das Yotel ja auch nichts. 😉
