Charming and quaint, this four-bedroom cedar shake home set on a private, wooded lot is your perfect home base for a Martha’s Vineyard vacation. Tucked onto a quiet street between historic downtown Edgartown and Katama (South) Beach, you’ll have easy access to both – and beyond – via nearby bike paths. Both the Nantucket and Cape Cod ferries are an easy drive away as well. In season, start the day by biking a little under a mile over to the Katama Kitchen for a unique breakfast right next to the Katama Airfield, where you can watch small aircraft and biplanes take off and land on a grassy airstrip while you eat.

Inside, you’ll find a homey living space, outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The chef will appreciate the full kitchen, and the adjacent dining area can feed the whole crew. The exposed brick, knotty pine ceilings, and wood floors in the main living area create a charming spot to relax while you stream your favorite shows or upload the day’s pics to social media with the in-home Wifi. Keep dinner simple with the gas grill on the deck, or step out to one of Edgartown’s many restaurants. At the end of the day, four bedrooms with a variety of sleeping configurations mean there is room for everyone.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great family cottage

This cottage was a perfect fit for our family trip of 7 adults and two children. We spent evenings in the sunroom playing games and loved using the bikes in the shed to ride down to the beach during the day (10-15 minute ride on a bike, 5 in a car). 5-10 minute drive into edgartown for whatever we needed. We already talked about staying here again next year!

Great Stay

My group had a great time at this house in Edgartown. The home was equipped with everything we needed. 5 minute drive or quick bike ride to South Beach and to downtown Edgartown. We also made use of the beach chairs and bikes available at the house! Our party loved the outdoor shower. Would stay again.

First impression, was checking out the bathroom when we entered and it had poop stains in the toilet. Downhill from there. The place had lots of ant traps that definitely weren’t working. It was infested with ants. If you left your bag down there would ants all in it the next day. Ants on the counters, on the plates in the cabinets, even in the beds. There was two red stains on the comforter of the bed that looked like blood. I couldn’t even sleep in the sheets I was so grossed out. Disappointed is an understatement. There was an offer to clean the place but it wouldn’t have helped. The place needs to be fumigated. Leftover tooth brush and showery necessities from previous guests. A number of shampoos and conditioners just left around in the outdoor shower too.

We attended a wedding in Martha's Vineyard and needed a place for our extended family to stay. Gray house was perfect! It accommodated all of us, adults and kids. Activities for everyone, clean and easy check in/check out process. Watch out with the littles for poison ivy.

Neat, Cute and Relaxed

I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was in a wonderful location. It was a quick walk or run to the beach and an easy drive to every location we were interested in going to. Fantastic! The house was very neat and the decor was warm and inviting. We appreciated the fact that the air conditioning worked very well as did the washer and dryer. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for a relaxing vacation. Vacasa was very responsive when I texted with questions. Superb customer service. I would rent this property again.

Spacious house on a very quiet street

Simple, spacious place for a big group. Easy to get to downtown by foot, bike, or car. I wished there were two indoor showers (house has one indoor, one outdoor), but overall, a great stay in MV.
