Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. « We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again! »

« We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dairy Barn for our Babymoon! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch & provided us with apple juice, bread, eggs, fresh butter & some preserves. Only thing to note is dogs can easily escape or enter the enclosed garden. We have a small dog and he managed to escape multiple times so we found ourselves having to block all escape routes, then larger dogs easily entered and exited the garden using a low wall. Other than this we had absolutely no issues at all! »

« If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest. »

« Well equipped comfortable accommodation.lovely rural setting quite quiet although on working farm. Friendly helpful host lovely apple juice fresh from farm .Short drive to local town convenient location for exploring the area.only minor issue Double bed was fair but springs in mattress beginning to sag more toilet paper and kitchen roll would be helpful. WeWould recommend this barn accommodation and would visit again. »

« What a wonderful place to stay in Hastings. Our stay was during one of the hottest weeks of the year but the host left electric fans to keep us cool, which was perfect and it was a short walk to the beach so always the chance to cool down in the sea too. Also stated that I was gluten free upon booking and were left a lovely hamper that included gluten free snacks. Lovely touches to an already beautiful apartment. »

« Primrose Lodge has everything you could wish for. The space has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed and is extremely comfortable. Everything provided for here - comfortable bed, huge bath, well equipped kitchen and a very efficient wood burner, with a generous supply of logs, that kept us warm and toasty through the recent cold spell. « Lovely property, very clean, lovely bed linen and towels. Owners very helpful with check in and making sure everything was okay with us. Everything we needed at the property including separate drinks fridge. Nice bath and powerful shower. We try to holiday on the beach at Pevensey Bay every year. Although we were lucky enough to have great weather, having direct access to the beach means we can still enjoy the views whatever the weather. There are always beautiful sunrises and sunsets there....

« We instantly felt at home in this holiday house – and so did our dogs! Everything was super clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed - and much more.
