« The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. « Nice location with a pretty garden . We were visiting during the recent long heatwave , we asked if we could have a fan as it was very hot in the loft area where you sleep , told clearly No !! I would suggest there should a fan in the property to make it more pleasant. We visited other places that had fans which made it a much more comfortable »

« We stayed at Mermaid Cottage for a week at the beginning of July. We arrived by train, and the cottage was within easy walking distance from the station. There were also buses departing nearby to various beaches, which was very convenient for us.The house had everything we needed, including comfortable beds, fans, and a well-equipped kitchen.
