Hello and thank you for visiting our listing. Please note that two other properties are available for you at property # 2214479, and property # 9275624ha

This is a perfect place for your vacation or a simply weekend getaway. It's located only 90 miles or 90 minutes away from New York City in a peaceful, amenity-filled community. There is a California King bed, two queen beds, one full bed and two twin beds across the bedrooms.

All year round you can enjoy Aquatopia and Kalahari Water Parks, Crossing Outlet Mall, and other malls in the vicinity of the house. Multiplex movie theater is located in one of the malls so a movie night is possible if you feel that the 130" projector screen in the home is just a tad too small ;-)

In the summer you can have fun at Camel Beach outdoor water park, as well as two great community pools, lake beach and multiple playgrounds for kids. 10 amenity passes are included with the rental and no pass is required for children under 5.

Winter activities like Camelback Mountain Ski Resort and Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort are within 15 to 20 minutes easy drive. Blue Mountain Ski Resort is also within easy drive of around 40 minutes from the house.

Home is equipped with all new kitchen appliances including dishwasher, microwave, coffe maker, a toaster oven and more. If you like to cook outside, there's a large BBQ on the deck. Washer and dryer is also available for you to use.

Music and movie lovers, this house is for you. Living Room area features the aforementioned 130” projector screen. There's of course a flat screen, internet connected TV in the Living Room in the Master Bedroom

The community is filled with amenities. There are 2 pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, lake with swimming beach and kids playground, and a lake where you can fish.

For those concerned with safety, no worries at all. Within a 10 minute drive from the house, there are few urgent care facilities and a brand new hospital.

EXCLUSIONS
Unfortunately, due to insurance policy we are unable to rent our home to anyone under 23.

CAMERAS
There are security cameras that are not monitored and recordings are automatically deleted.. Cameras are installed for our guests' safety and are recording outside areas only.

Due to community rules and out of respect to our neighbors, all rental inquiries for proms, graduation gatherings and any other parties will be respectfully declined.

Tom was great! Always was helpful and available. Although Penn Estates when you seen the advertisement seemed like you was able to use all the amenities that was not true that was the only downfall. The house we stayed at was clean, and very comfortable. Loved my grandkids experience with hand feeding the deer. And having the play area right in the back yard. Hot tub was great! Overall experience was amazing looking forward to staying again.

Third stay at Pocono house

This was our third stay at this house. Kids keep wanting to go back--they love it! Very tranquil. For nature-lovers, house is to close to Bushkill Falls, Delaware Water Gap, Big Pocono State Park (if you're really adventurous, the Appalachian Trail is up there too). We haven't hit the ski slopes or water parks, but they're also close to the house.This VRBO house has 160 reviews! Hope it's still available for the foreseeable future--my kids were already talking about going back on the drive home.

Great House

We had four adults and two kids. There wasn't enough room for all of us to stretch out on the sofa. The master bathroom rain shower head was not working. The spigot was broken off. The ice maker in the fridge wasn't working and the ice tray was broken. The fridge door wouldn't hold anything without the guard falling off and everything falling out of the fridge. The motion detecting light outside by the front door kept flashing some nights. The neighbors were very loud and obnoxious. The pool was closed two of the days we were there due to them working on electrical issues. The lake was closed one day due to high E. coli levels which was a little scary and gross as we’d swam in it a couple days prior. Registering with the community was a pain in the butt. These were all very minor inconveniences and nothing to deter staying at this beautiful home. The projector screen was sweet. The master bed was insanely comfortable. There is a Keurig. The deer were magical. The firepit was awesome, especially since the week we went was unusually chilly. The rain shower upstairs was heavenly. The location of the house was great. Once registered getting in and out of the community was a breeze. Communicating with the owners was very easy. There are many adventures to get into. It was our best family vacation ever. Both relaxing and fun. Rejuvenating and we hope to return in the future.

Poconos trip for Family Wedding

Owner was very communicative, helped me with what I needed to pack. Adequate space for 7+ adults. Could use just a little more silverware and fry pans. Lovely deck and deer every day!! Another tranquil stay

This was our second stay at this house. We had such a pleasant time three years ago, the family insisted we go back to the Poconos and stay in the same house. The Poconos are peaceful, serene and clean, and this house is very modern and elegantly furnished. We used the community pool and rec center, hiked at Bushkill Falls and nearby Big Pocono State Park (highly recommend both). The consensus of five-star reviews pretty much says it all. Hope to stay there again some day in the future. Thanks again Tom & Olga!

Relaxing getaway in the mountains

This property provided plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun. Our family enjoyed the outdoor eating area every night, the fire pit for s’mores, the nearby lake & pool areas for water fun, and our kids loved the playground out back (including daily visits from a deer family). We also enjoyed some hiking nearby. The weather was perfect for all our outdoor activities.

What we experienced

Mattresses were comfy. Wi-Fi was good. Unfortunately, a culmination of poor housekeeping, neglected home maintenance, and a live wood tick in the master bedroom led to a lack of confidence that the European style bedding with no top sheets was actually clean. We left 2 nights early. Discussed with the owner after the fact, not asking or expecting anything. He was polite. He had explanations for most everything and assured us that the bedding was clean, but ultimately said I was at fault for not notifying him on the night we arrived. We were on vacation, and we didn’t want to spend any amount of time having to confront the housekeeper or owner.

We were a group of HS friends age 60+ coming together for the wedding of one friend's daughter at Stroudmour Inn. The house was perfect for what we needed and owners Tom and Olga thought of everything imaginable to make our stay easy and comfortable. Would recommend and would rent again on a heart beat!!!!
