We were looking for a weekend of r&r and this was the perfect place. It was relaxing and quiet, the weather was not the best but we went out for breakfast at Pam's Restaurant twice. We went to Grovdale winery and Oliverâs bar and grille for dinner. Fed the fish in the Koi pond. Loved the cabin and the amenities. Will definitely come back for another stay!
The property was great, and in a nice location. The interior, and exterior of the house was very neat, and clean. We had to reach out to the property owner once, and they were very courteous, and accommodating. A great place for us !
Quiet, wooded location. Beautiful, clean house that served as home base for our hiking trips in the Loyalsock Forest, World's End State Park and at Rickett's Glen.
After a day of hiking, we were able to relax and enjoy the property's wooded lot. Had many 'Deer' friends to observe, an added bonus! Location was far enough away from town to not hear any distractions but close enough to be convenient. Very nice experience!
Very nice, serene and peaceful mountain setting. Very cute cabin with comfortable bed and furniture. Also, very nice back porch to sit out with comfortable chairs. Very neat and clean. We definitely will stay again! Great communication with the owner also, who responded quickly.
Weâve stayed here at least 3 times and it keeps getting better. The hosts have made numerous upgrades. Peaceful and quiet yet fairly central to the places you may want to see. Great covered back porch from which you can hear the waterfall in the koi/bullfrog pond. We will definitely stay again.
Beautiful property, very clean. It was a great location close to town. Peaceful relaxing and quiet. Host was very nice and quick to respond. We had an amazing little getaway.
The pictures of the cabin do not do it justice. One of the nicest properties I have ever vacationed in, by far. Comfortable, clean, tasteful, beautiful inside and outside. So much fun feeding the fish everyday, and we saw deer, bear, and cute wild turkey family on the property! Lots to do in the area, or just hang out on back porch and relax.
The home was very clean , adorable cabin with a beautiful outdoor space. A very quiet property Enjoyed the sounds from the koi pond Back porch covered with great seating Thank you Karen
We all loved our stay this past weekend! The cabin was tastefully decorated, cozy and clean. Everything we needed was provided. We really enjoyed cozying up to the woodstove and watching for the deer stop by for corn. Will certainly rent again when the opportunity presents itself.
The property was quaint and comfortable unfortunately the is little to do in this remote area especially during the rain. Some instructions on how to operate the smart tv would have nice. Thank goodness we have Netflix
We were so pleased with the property and setting that we hated to leave. Before leaving, we were already planning our next trip to this vacation spot. We did not come to sight see or do activities, but just to relax and we were able to do just that.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully furnished cabin. We enjoyed the koi pond with the lovely little waterfall. We appreciated the immaculate condition of the cabin and the beds were extremely comfortable. Karen (owner) provided us with all the necessary information the day before we arrived. We highly recommend this cabin. DV Hookstown,PA
This was our second stay at this cabin, and we really enjoyed it. It is very clean and really cozy. The property is kept up very well and nicely decorated. We would like to see the television lowered or angled down so it would be at a better viewing angle. Other than that, we just wish it could accommodate more than 5 people. (Maybe expand the upstairs bedroom out further over the back porch? Something to think about..) đ
My husband, our two dogs and our best friends and their son visited this property and it was perfect! Very clean, surprisingly spacious, and the property itself was beyond what we expected. The kids enjoyed the koi pond and looking for frogs, we played yard games and roasted marshmallows. So close to great hiking and fishing too! Will definitely visit again!
My husband and I celebrated our 37th anniversary here with our dog. This place is AMAZING! I guess we canât keep it a secret! See you next year and thank you for sharing your beautiful place!
We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for our needs and we loved how quiet it was and in the woods. Our kids really liked feeding the fish! We spent time in both Ricketts Glen and Worlds End and even saw a bear cub on the drive. Karen was great and even reached out to us one morning about an activity she thought our kids would like. We would definitely stay again!
We thought this little cabin was a cozy little get away. We enjoyed the campfire and playing games in the evenings and hiking at nearby World's End and Rickett's Glen State Parks. We did have to crate the dog while away and had to keep her off the furniture.
