« Hôtel tres bien situé à 2 pas de l'abbaye mais des choses a revoir. Les fenêtres tres anciennes et l'ancienneté du bâtiment dont que l'isolation y est a parfaire... beaucoup même... très lourd dans la chambre malgré le fait qu'il ne faisait pas plus de 22° dehors. On ne peux pas ouvrir beaucoup les fenêtres. Le ventilateur est bruyant. On enrends aussi pas mal les bruits dans le couloir et les chanbres proches Le bar du bas est aussi très animé le soir il faut en tenir compte »

« Staff very friendly and helpful. Room had all the amenities expected. With comfortable bed and thick towels. Only problem encountered were the very steep and curved stairs but in such a lovely place this is to be expected »

« Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it...

« This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a luxury double room, which was nice with a spacious bathroom and great shower. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced and staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking across the road from the hotel. »

« C'était un vendredi et le pub servait alors il y avait un peu de bruit avec la fenêtre ouverte. Mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. On est allé boire un coup également. L'hôtel n'est pas moderne, mais très confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment très bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journée très proche et très pratique pour charger et décharger les affaires. Le personnel est très dynamique, sympathique,le petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous avons apprécié notre nuit ! »
