'This was a perfect location for us to stay for the Kinloch Offroad Challenge. Only 5 minutes walk from the start/finish. We stayed for 7 nights and spent time checking out Taupo while there. So glad we did this, as Kinloch has so much character and it was easy to travel the 20 min drive into Taupo for the touristy things we did in town and such a relaxing place to come back to. Out of Auckland, Wellington and Rotarua this was the highlight of our 3 week trip.'

'Great place to stay!We stayed here as two families and had a fantastic time. After a great day snowboarding up the mountain, we enjoyed a lovely family dinner together. The kitchen is well set up with high-quality cookware, and the spa and drying room facilities are excellent. It’s just a short walk into town, where we even caught Drax Project playing at the Powderkeg. Highly recommend!'
