HIGHLY recommend the Koala experience, the Ultimate Penfold's Experience, and the RM Williams Experience (was unexpectedly AWESOME!!). Food was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. 'We have stayed at the Wairakei on numerous occasions and have always loved it there. The hot pool is superb, and the beds are really comfy. The staff have always been obliging and helpful. We also love the casualness of the place where you don't have to dress up for dinner etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others'
